Following a trial, a jury came back and found the eight teenagers, some of whom cannot be named for legal reasons, all guilty of violent disorder.

On Saturday, police were at the holiday home that Slater had visited before he disappeared, standing guard outside while tourists ate at the adjoining cafe.

A police presence was also visible near to a house further down the valley, close to the palm tree where Slater’s phone last “pinged”, and which is believed to be his last known location.

It shows Jay in the grey sport top with green shoulder edging that he was wearing when he went missing, with Lucy alongside him.

This morning it emerged that she has been questioned again at length by Spanish police separately with officers wanting to go through timings once again with her although there is no suggestion of anything untoward.

If that is Lucy in the picture and it was taken in the early hours of the morning, she couldn’t have left early like she originally said. JMO.

Edited to add I don’t think the time she actually left was confirmed.

I think I read in another newspaper article not long after he disappeared, that her and Brad left at 2am and Jay stayed on

I think it’s probably more because they are getting a lot of traffic for it rather than them knowing something is about to happen.

I'm confused because I thought Jay headed north, i.e. in the wrong direction, uphill, after leaving the airbnb bus stop. And then his phone pinged his location. So I don't understand why the ping came from near a palm tree 'further down the valley', because this implies further south/downhill from the airbnb?

It’s absolutely crazy he still hasn’t been found yet. He couldn’t of walked that far so unless they have are looking in the wrong areas.

Hey everyone,

General discussion of the fundraising page and amounts is not allowed.

It has to be a page run by family or close friends (which this one seems to be), and the ONLY thing allowed for discussion is if there are new facts in the intro about the missing person that were not previously known (i.e. she was missing a shoe, or his shirt was plaid, not yellow ...).

If he has walked a lot further than they think, then they could be looking in totally the wrong place. He really could be anywhere from that last ping. JMO.
