"Jersey" and MW

I have thought that, too. The parents kept a baseball bat and two shotguns in their bedroom.
One other thing, if so many neighbors knew that Jersey was wanted on a warrant, why didn't someone call the police. Probably would have saved a lot of trouble.

Maybe someone threatened to turn him in on the warrants....maybe someone who found out he was selling their stolen items on Craigslist.

JI didn't have any warrants or are you saying that JI may have threatened to turn JT in?

OK, late night link check!

Where was JT a.k.a. "Jersey" on the night Lisa disappeared? Where is he now? Do we have reliable links to either of these items?

(Where this post lands is random, but this isn't:

I hadn't seen this - from HLN. Very interesting. Shows path from Baby Lisa's house to the gas station where the video showed someone coming from the woods, and where sightings were of man carrying a baby, AND apparently Jersey shaved his head the day Baby Lisa went missing. Very interesting video.
Just note that they have the path going north further up Brighton instead of turning east at Parvin Rd like the gas station video shows. I think if this person is the same all along, then they proceeded east on Parvin until Bennington. Then went north on Bennington to 48th st. Also note from me that Bennington was closed to vehicle traffic during this time and there are not a lot of houses directly along it especially the further north you go.

On that video I just posted, a neighbor said that Jersey takes care of the lawn/house of an elderly couple who lives near her (maybe next door?) - which is also by Lisa's house. She said she saw him about 1 or so in the afternoon and he was turning on sprinklers at the elderly couple's house. She was leaving and she didn't get home till 9:30. At 9:30 the sprinklers were STILL on, and still in the same location, which she said was very unusual. Then she noticed at 11:00 pm that the sprinklers had been turned off so she assumed he had been there between 9:30 and 11:00 to turn them off.

Now I'm really confused. A link on the other thread goes to a story that claims Jersey WAS in jail that night. If that's true, how could LE have been "looking" for him to question him? They didn't check their own jail records? He conveniently got out the morning after Lisa went missing? Is the reporter wrong?

How did he cut the sprinklers on and off if he was in jail?

Looks like he is being held closer to downtown Kansas City, Missouri, rather than up north in Clay County. This is kind of confusing because it says the information is correct as of 10/31/2011, but it shows photos of him from 2009, and says his sentence was to be 4 years. I wonder if they might have sent him back to the place he was released from, maybe because his continued criminal activity was a parole violation?

I still say he had something to do with it; otherwise, why $10,000 bond for vehicle tampering? His bond wasn't that high for burglary. I think they have something on him that they are not saying. If he was around the area all the time, maybe Deborah Bradley even knew him. Maybe he was in the house drinking wine with them that night. JMO.

I did look at his older charge on Casenet and he had at that time a $20,000.00 bond back then. Same charge as this one iirc.

If it walks like a duck, and acts like a duck, it's a duck.

If the choice is between two parents with no history of hurting their kids, and an ex-con who disappeared the next day, loved fire, had a history of breaking into things (through the window), and knew the woman who got a phone call from the Irwin's missing phones.....it's the latter, the duck.

Considering the DB, neighbor, and potentially other person would have been sitting on the front steps drinking a box of wine at 8:30 pm, I think it's a pretty big stretch to suggest somebody broke into their house at that time to use their phone. Which wasn't supposed to work anyway.

This whole case just stinks! The more they say he is clear the more unclear he looks to me. Unless there is a real JT and a fake JT. Maybe he has a twin. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

I googled some phrases from the article and couldn't find it being regurgitated as they normally are... which led me to the assumption that it may not be a reputable news source. I decided to wait until I hear it from a more-ish MSM.

It gives credence to the non-barking dog. If Jersey was so well-known in the neighborhood, a dog would very likely shrug at his being in the area. All the neighbor dogs bark at me when I'm new, and quit barking after a week or so when they realize I'm part of the neighborhood - whether I specifically know their families or not.

There is also the possibility that DB knew him well enough to let him in to use the phone. Or the bathroom. Or that, as a cat burglar, he knew how to get in and out while people were home - guys like that do. And why is he covering his face in court? He already has a record and he can't be afraid that some corporate boss will see him in court. I guess he shaved his head because he needed a summer look? In October.

That open window was in the front of the house. How could he possibly get into it with people sitting on the front steps drinking? Just so he can use the phone? I don't think so. And how would the dog know him? Just because he has been in the neighborhood? Dogs don't have that long a range of knowing someone. Dog is sitting in the back yard, how is the dog going to know Jersey is well known in the neighborhood?

In da Middle, I'd be interested to hear a theory from a local about where Jersey might have taken Lisa IF all the sightings were of him. In other words, after that intersection where the man on the motorcycle might have seen him, what is there? woods? water? a highway only (so that he might have called someone else and gotten a ride?

If Jersey doesn't have a history of child molestation or sex offenses, it actually gives me hope that he sold Lisa or stashed her somewhere. Otherwise, it would make more sense that she might have been molested and then killed in the abandoned house, or much closer to home. Why carry her around, presumably sleeping, and take that risk? If she was dead, there were lots of places to get rid of her on that route. So what did he do with her, given the terrain AFTER that last sighting?

The court records say a warrant was issued for his arrest on 10/14 and he was arrested on 10/14. So I don't think he was in jail on 10/03.

Bombshell on NG!!! Speaking of Jersey and that he's recently broken up with MW, violent break up.. She says that he was still taking part in criminal behaviors including burglary!!

The bombshell for me was that Jim Spellman CNN says that the exact place where the husband and wife saw the man with the baby at 12:15am is an actual "cut thru" or shortcut that Jersey was very much known to use on a daily basis.. As well as the fact that's the exact place where the dumpster fire was at 2:30am!!! Jersey is known to be extremely fond of setting fires!! All just a Coincidence?? Can't be IMO.. Way too much there!!

Burglars enter occupied homes all the time. The fact that people were outside would be even more convenient. Not saying it happened, just that it is common. I don't think he wanted to use the phone per se, but was maybe looking for things to steal. Maybe in using the phone, he discovered all the phone's limitations. That's when he thought about taking the baby.

As for the dogs, yes, dogs in back yards know neighbors by scent and by sound - the sound of an individual car, they can distinguish, or of someone's footsteps. Memory wouldn't play into it because he was a regular. Yes, dogs know regulars.
