Dang it though. :furious: I want JBR killer brought to justice. Its never going to happen! And that ticks me off.
I think the killer has been brought to justice a while ago, but in a higher court than here on this earth.

And as for Karr, I have never believed for a second that this whacko was ever in the Ramsey home. Imo JMK was so obsessed with the case that he fantasized himself both into into the role of the perp and the victim.

Well, that's that, I guess, sheesh! What a crock!

I agree he needs to be put away somewhere anyways for those perverted things he was saying! He is a menace to society despite not killing her.
ok but doesnt he face charges in LA now-he is a fugitive from his charges=*advertiser censored* charges..that should get automatic time for him without a trial-he should be held now till a trial date is set.
But you guys are right-what a fiasco..its just unbelieveable..they could have done all of this while holding him on the *advertiser censored* charges-noone would have to know.

Breaking News--LMAO--Lacy just stated she will NOT file charges--incompetence to the max
I am going to give her the benefit of the doubt-because who knows how it got to be a media circus..maybe thats the medias fault (and we are the media-what we tune in to is what they dig around for)..If she had not arrested him and he was the killer can you imagine the fury?
JK gave the confession-and they still found a fugitve from the law in finding him.
He is the one who put himself in the case.
Now what I dont understand, (and thats why I wonder how it got into the press), is why they didnt quietly arrest him on *advertiser censored* charges and suspicion of murder..quietly do the test and interview him..determine he is a fake and proceed with the *advertiser censored* charges.
The tapes alone should help convict him on the *advertiser censored* charges. Fleeing from those charges should also help a jury to convict him.
I dont think he should go free-and there is no legal reason to let him go on those *advertiser censored* charges-he has proven he is a flight risk thats for sure.
However it got into the press is what started the circus..and I am wondering if JMK himself didnt call the press or have someone involved make sure it was leaked.

Anyone know the best kind of utensils to use when eating words? I'm fixin' to sit down to big heaping bowl of them....
henkles are the best knives for sutting it inot small pieces..I would use plastic after that..lol
Did u think JMK was the guy-cuz I read your posts and u said a lot of things in general that u should not have to apologise for-so short of whatever arguments u gave in favor of JMK being the murderer, u dont have much eating to do.
thanku for your many thots..

Thanks, newtv. I wasn't 100% certain that JMK was the guy, but the more wierdness and creepy stuff that came out about him, well...I was definately leaning that way for sure.

Some posters seem to be expressing joy and utter happiness at this latest development, and I think that is just plain tacky and in extremely poor taste, IMO. It doesn't make me happy that the real killer isn't behind bars. I can admit that my feelings on him being the possible perp were wrong, but it seems that some RDI's are overjoyed. I would much rather have the killer be caught, even if it meant that I was wrong all along.

I do still wonder, though, if maybe he can provide the piece of the puzzle that we have all been missing? Maybe....maybe not.

I'm not gonna jump on the "Mary Lacey Is An Idiot" bandwagon just yet, either. This guy confessed (albeit, in hindsight, a false confession) and with his history of being so obsessed with JonBenet, I'm sure if she chose to wait for DNA testing, the uproar would be more deafening than it already is.

I enjoy your posts, newtv, and actually look forward to reading when I see your name at the beginning of a post!!!

EDITED TO ADD: What in the world is a henkle??:)

I, for one, am NOT surprised that Karr didn't do it.
I knew it the second they announced him as a suspect.

THE RAMSEYS KILLED JONBENET!!!!!!!!

And, if I'm ever proven wrong....which I seriously doubt, I would be happy
to eat my words with a side of rice pilaf and a glass of Chardonnay.

Seriously people, I really believe he will murder a child. This has been a 'high' for him and like any drug addict out there he'll try to duplicate this high or beat it.

can't he be declared insane by a judge and put in a mental hospital for the rest of his days?

I just CAN'T see setting him free???

If he wanted the notoriety that would have come from the JBR case and has now been denied going down in infamy as the man who killed Jonbenet....then perhaps you are right that he would possibly murder a child.
Maybe he would at this point be capable of murdering a child just to be back in the limelight because he must have wanted that limelight and attention very badly to confess to a horrible murder he did not commit. Committing a real murder may be the only way he can get whatever sort of high he got from this....I think he is scary even if he didn't kill JBR.

I don't think I so much believed that he was the one, I guess I just wanted him to be the one if that makes any sense at all. I've always gone back and forth with this case because like some of you have already said before, I just don't want to think people can do this to their own children. It saddens me to think that this crime may never be solved and if her parents had anything to do with it, that at least one escaped punishment. It's beyond me why someone would want to identify with this crime to the point that JMK does. What a mess!

I'd be willing to bet there are going to be people who will believe until the end of time that he is the real killer. The DNA was contaminated by someone in the lab, therefore his DNA didn't match. This will end up as an episode of "Conspiracy" on the Discovery channel 10 years from now.

"You can't trust those tests." ;) Heh.
Actually, he DID say that in the new issue of People magazine. I bought it last week while I was on vacation...

Now what? He is a danger to children and if she isn't going to file any charges - he's free to go? OMG
No, I think I read they're going to bind him over to California for the Child *advertiser censored* charges...

I wonder if Wendy has dropped her price on eBay ... I just checked, and no longer see a link.

Ha, Ha, I thought it kinda lame that she was selling it. But worse the psychiatric report was really annoying.I am glad that it will be worth nothing now.

I see it's still on eBay. Current asking price: $199.00. By morning, it should have dropped where even the $1.00 stores could include it in their inventory.

if the DNA does not match, as JMK said himself it would not, then there is no case. IMHO.
The handwriting is not going to go away. Just with an open mind, for the heck of it, look at the circled letters to compare the yearbook and ransom note writings. And remember he said he wrote the ransom note in the dark with his left hand, wearing gloves, with a felt tip pen. The yearbook was written about 15 years before but some of the letters are IDENTICAL.
