PA - Katlyn Harp, last seen at home by husband, 18 June 2025

I took "no penetrating trauma" to indicate no wounds, head or otherwise that might create blood.

Sometimes they say this and then we see the autopsy later and find out there was trauma. I'll wait for the full autopsy to believe there was zero cuts on her

Agree that’s a strong possibility, I wonder if they are able to fast track the toxicology results? Otherwise it’s going to be a bit for results to come back.

Curious about motive. Did he have a life insurance policy on Katlyn?

No motive needed. According to his track record and past, he is violent

I think the strange text, that may have been sent by him reveals motive... "Sorry for talking to other guys on snap" but I agree his past might reveal violence or a financial motive.

I suspect that talking to other guys on snap was a figment of his imagination. People like him are the first to cast their partner in a bad light by accusing them of what they themselves are up to. :(

I will not be at all surprised if it comes out that ole Vinny was entertaining conversations with females via snap or tinder. His personality type is always lining up his next one before getting rid of the current one.

and that bit about "please don't trash my 💩" in her alleged (now we KNOW fake) text is telling because that is exactly what someone like him does when his victim finally tries to leave. In trying to imitate her with that text, he actually told me a LOT about himself.

I'll bet he raged, demeaned, threw tantrums, accused, demoralized, and controlled his girlfriends and wives. Typical narc behaviors. JMO

I just knew it would end up this way but am so grateful that at least she was found! I also agree that first wife's death and fire should be revisited. Bless her family and those poor children who have no parents left.

Even if she was talking to other guys, who could blame her? And not like that would make her deserving of any violence or abuse. Though, I'm sure you are right, he probably just through it all up on his own. Maybe he already trashed some of her things when he sent that message. I agree, it's something only a psycho would do.

I don't believe so. You can fall and hit your head and its blunt force trauma, not penetrating trauma, and there can be lots of blood. So hit with a bat, concrete block or fireplace poker, blunt force. Could be lots of blood. Punched in face, bloody nose, lip or knocked out teeth.

I wonder if they specifically mentioned the extremity bones because she was located inside a box and thus would likely have to be folded in there IMO
^^^^This. When they say "box" and "abuse of a corpse" the bones don't have to be broken to make a body fit.

So so terrible that the poor sister is the one who found her. It is something I am sure she will never get over. I knew he was guilty when he gave the interview. Every sentence he spoke about Katlyn was is the PAST tense. I don’t think he was even aware he was doing it. Which is one of the things that LE looks for.

I hope this family finds healing moving forward in a terrible situation as they will be subjected to trials, lawyers and media.

MOO and speculation.

Didn't his first wife die from a drug overdose? It may come down to the blood work we're waiting on.

In 2018, Vincent Harp faced multiple charges including terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, assault and harassment, related to allegations of domestic violence involving his then-wife, Stephanie Harp.

In 2021, Stephanie died from a drug overdose. It was ruled to be an accidental overdose, however there were no drugs or paraphernalia found and the family insisted that she was sober.

His wives don't last very long do they?

No, the surely don't :( I just keep thinking about Katlyn's kids, and his own two kids. All that has been stolen from them.

I really want to see this man suffer everything that the legal system can throw at him. I'll let God sort what happens after earthly justice but I hope both are severe.

I sure hope they're going to look more closely at his first wife's death now.

Totally agree...the husband's quotes come across as more resentful than grieving. The way he talks about "supporting her" feels more like keeping score than genuine care, and the past tense is definitely concerning. Very sad that Katlyn has been found deceased. Hoping justice comes swiftly.

Katlyn's sister is a hero. It really helps when a family is in constant contact & it's very odd when someone doesn't return calls/texts. It gives the perp very little time to cover up the crime when family is suspicious and call the police immediately. It's great the family was able to go on the property so quickly bc I bet the police had to get probable cause to get a search warrant and serve it to the new owner. Who knows if they could have gotten probable cause... Her family wasn't messing around & saved everyone so much time & wondering.
