Okay guys. I would be the older conservative juror. I am 64. Hearing Travis and Jodi during the tape made me sick to my stomach. And the defense is clever to place the words on a screen and have the jury read it.

However, I made up my mind early on that Jodi is guilty of premeditated murder. Granted, the jury hasn't had the advantage of all the conversations that we have had. Still, though it sickens me, I would find her guilty today. Jodi is not innocent and she was not abused. She could have left the relationship and she didn't have to drive 1000 miles for sex. Thing is...she didn't. She drove 1000 miles for premeditated murder. I doubt if any juror is as conservative as I am. And with Juan's cross last week, it will all be okay.

Still, very disappointed in the judge!

Doing things because you're abused and controlled and doing something because you're in love/obsessed with them and want them at any cost are two different things. Emotions and desire can still exist within an abusive relationship, but they can also still exist separately.

Regardless of what Jodi claims to have liked, disliked, and what we chose to believe, I believe at the end of the day it was because she wanted Travis, to claim him. Even if she were to claim she was such a battered and abused woman that she didn't know any better but to do anything to please him (we know that's baloney), that's not Travis' fault.

When it comes to this victim baloney about what Jodi did for Travis, everything being for him, about him, I hope Juan or the jury makes sure to make the distinction between actions of true domestic violence and jealousy and desire. Maybe he has already, my brain is scrambled (haha Jodi) and I'm tired of this exploitation of sexual assault and domestic violence victims.

So Nurmi and his defense experts are going to try to convince the jury that JA was TA's sex slave and this constitutes sexual and emotional abuse.

Good luck with that given so much testimony that she was a willing participant and often went to great lengths to quench her craving for more sex with Travis.

There's a huge difference between wanting to 'please your man' and being under his complete and utter control.

Hopefully the entire jury will see through this obvious ruse.

Nurmi might have had a good gig in the beginning of this trial with that angle, but after hearing this tape and every aspect of sexual activity between these two......the words and action are just not shocking anymore, but boring. Now how does he expect the jury to even consider the weight of those words. This is a Good thing!!....and why does saying his name make me want Sushi!:waitasec:

I'm worried about the older Jurors however.

From looking at the description of the jurors someone? posted, most of them don't really seem so old! Jurors being the age 70 would have become adults in the 60's and those age 60 became adults in the 70's. Very much a time of sexual exploration. I suspect they aren't red-faced and inexperienced:floorlaugh: But I think they are bored to death having to listen to this AGAIN.

So completely that the killer of Travis will walk freely out of jail. Just like the killer of Caylee. These judges are so terrified by appeals that they are allowing killers to go free.

Do you honestly believe that a jury, hearing consenting adults have a sex talk via phone, that both find hot and both are participating in, are going to be so disgusted that they will let JA walk free? Seriously?

In the CA case there was no definitive cause of death. The ME couldn't say what she died of...only that she died and considered it a homicide. But they didn't know the cause, who was at fault the moment it happened or any of it.

Now contrast that with THIS case. We know how TA died, we know who killed him, and we have photographic evidence.

A bunch of sex talk isn't going to free JA, and if that's the fear then it's unfounded paranoia.
