My theory is because she was not convicted, and they think they can keep making money off her.

In my view, these defense attorneys pale in comparison to all the lying and cheating done by CA attorneys. I do think that photo flashing was an intentional deceitful way of showing the jury those 'cause they knew they would not get them into evidence. But at least they are not lying to the judge and calling people names.

I think JW flashing the photos was a fu to Juan and to let him know that she didn't mind getting her hand slap. kinda childish isn't it?

They both know that's it's out there and it could or couldn't be Travis, but no one can swear to it. We can hope that is another thing thing they jury will hold against the DT. A waste of time and taxpayer's money.

the only real inroads:

they showed pictures from her camera that show her with darker hair in May (but it is not dark brown by any means) and then another picture from May that shows her with even a different hair color

I think it was pointless because it showed how often she changed her hair color.

We still have the witness from the car place that ID'd her but said her hair was "blonde"

I'm a little frustrated that police didn't research her receipts just prior to the murder and find someplace that had her on video to prove she had blonde hair instead of leaving it up to witness discretion. Surely she went to a drugstore or Walmart or grocery or gas station days PRIOR to her Arizona trip. Surely there is surveillance video. It's very tedious to find, but beats trying to argue what one person calls "blonde" and another person calls light brown". JMO

If you look at the listing it says Travis Alexander by Jodi Arias in the title, nowhere else does it claim to be a 100% authentic JA painting. Titles in paintings are not an accurate statement of fact, they are whatever the artist chooses to call them.

The title is misleading, yes. But technically it is not fraud. In the listings at the bottom it does not claim to be by her.

Look, I don't agree with this painting, I think it is in incredibly poor taste, but I can't claim to know the motivation behind the person listing when I don't know them, I suggested a possible reason. Moo suggested another, which was a really good point.

But I don't think it is fraud, I really don't. Misleading probably deliberately.

As far as the cost goes, yes I think they have set it to current interest standards, but IMO I am sometimes amazed at the unrealistic expectations people have in regard to the asking prices of their work!

Very good point, Tricksy. Whoever created it, certainly in bad and cruel taste, could simply be saying, "This is what Jodi Arias did to Travis Alexander," thus the "catchy" title.

I can't see where it is signed (maybe it's there and I just can't discern it), but the one who created this piece of carp should have had the ballz to sign it.

I would like to know the conditions/reasons by which it was removed...

In any event, I'm glad it's gone and I hope it wasn't sold. Grrrrrrrr.

It's like asking a librarian to look up a book for you and then getting mad they didn't read it for you as well. It's not his job to investigate outside of the scope of forensically analyzing computers and like devices.

IMO: As a technical expert, it is only his (Dworkin's) job to provide objective data.
It is not his job to investigate the meaningful content of that data, nor to taint it with his own subjective speculations or opinions.:twocents:

(Which is a GOOD thing (IMO)...because otherwise, any old tom, dick or harriet could say just about anything he/she wanted to on the stand and it would be an exercise in futility to pinpoint accurate information to arrive at truth):twocents:

I do believe it is TRUE that JM is a masterful prosecuting attorney in his posturing and in being able to pose the particular kind of questions he chooses to ask, especially when also demanding an absolute answer from any given witness when the true answer in all actuality may be a relative one that resides someplace in the middle of a graded continuum; however I do NOT believe that this expert was inept, argumentative or stupid AT ALL. :twocents:

IMO, if I am a witness and I have testified that the temperature outside is 25 degrees, Juan's question to me might be: "Ms Fowler, is that hot or cold?"

In my mind, before being able to answer that question accurately and truthfully, I would really NEED to know if the scale was Fahrenheit or Celsius, first. That temperature in Celsius would be around comfortable indoor room temperature whereas in Fahrenheit it would be brrrrr....COLD.

Would Juan ALLOW me to ASK whether the scale was C or F? I think he would shout: "I ask the questions here, Ms. Fowler!!!! Hot or cold?!!!"

I'd be cryin' me a RIVER up there on that stand....lease:lease:

Used-Car-Salesman "types" have always tended to really, really, REALLY rub me the wrong way, but I gotta tell you, when ol' GS was up on that stand I felt so SORRY for him!:twocents:

Juan is highly skilled in seizing everything available to him to portray a given situation in exactly the light he wants an audience to view that particular situation. Masterful, he is. JMO:twocents:
