I wonder what city in Florida has the highest population of hispanics???It seems to me that the focus is suddenly on highlighting his race..doing interviews on hispanic stations etc. HM...

I agree. JB is looking for a sympathetic hispanic on the Jury and is playing to that. KC will win no sympathy so JB is going for it.

Someone please tell me (I told all I am not knowledgeable) When J. is on GR. and all the talk shows he's been on ~ aren't they considered the media also? Isn't he knocking what he himself is doing? He's out there discussing the case!

He still hasn't learned, try as he might he can not use the media, just like CA it will tear him apart limb by limb.

This guy isn't the first Hispanic attorney to handle a very high profile case. Where does he get his information? So now he thinks he's setting some sort of precedent. Oh please, give us a break.

Lots of Baez babble. At first I had NO idea what he was trying to say. He rambled for quite a bit before I realized it wasn't about the case but about HIM and his questionable actions in supporting himself - taking money from others.

He's not the most eloquent speaker, for sure, but he does have some semblance of lawyer-speak. He just needs LOTS more practice.

His presser was a waste of time and media money. His attack on certain "media" reporters is ridiculous and unfounded. He's done several unprofessional actions, and now he's blaming a few reporters for doing their jobs and calling him on it. Pathetic. And he doesn't think all his TV appearances aren't part of the media?

He wants the change of venue kept secret? Is he drinking the koolaid again? When have they ever kept a new location secret?

As usual, he came across as a whiny baby who doesn't get his way. He should have stayed in his office, written out a statement, and faxed it to the media.

I'm afraid KC is going to have grounds for appeal because of this guy's unprofessionalism.

IMO, this guy is like KC, in de-ni-al. There is NO way he's giving up on this case. He's here for the long haul.

KC and JB are the ONLY people on the planet who think she didn't do it.

Mike Galanos had by far, the best show of the day. By a mile. His 3 defense atty's were nothing like JVM's and NG's. He also allows them to talk, unlike NG. They were, I hate to say it, fair and balanced!

ITA......I've started watching his show daily, seems like he asks the right questions (no matter the subject), & you actually get to hear the answers.

And he is not the only one from the defense team with diarrhea of the mouth either. He's like the A's IMO..if he wants to use the press for his benefit, it's all good, otherwise they can go to hell! JMO.

I'm starting to think media shouldn't go to any of his pressers..none have been informative..all have been whines about how evil the world is to kc and jb.....I do think the race card by him is due in part of association with GR--GR is forever playing that card in whatever he does....he brings it up allt he time!

Yes, Baez is leading the way for the Hispanic community to enter the legal profession and become high-profile attorneys. A real pathfinder. He would never do anything to embarrass "those that come after him".

The thing I always notice about these press conferences with Baez and the Anthony's attorneys is that none of them ever plead for information about the "killer." None of them pleads with police to find the "real" killer. They all say Casey is innocent, but none of them seem concerned with finding a killer. Why is that, I wonder??? :waitasec: If I were on the jury that would speak as loud as all the evidence against Casey that the police have gathered. I wish someone would ask Baez what he's doing to find Caylee's killer if his client is so innocent.

Baez did say to local media back in August, when asked if/how he was getting paid, he simply replied that he was getting paid.

After JB's presser, a local reporter (I think on WESH2) reported that JB is wrong about being the first hispanic to handle a high profile case and went on to name the hispanic lawyer and the case and that this reporter recently spoke with that lawyer.

I think because KC lacks any chance of winning juror sympathy, due to her lies, statements on videos and, 31 days that JB's new idea is that he plays the victim instead and wins sympathy.

By playing the race card and maybe moving the trial to a high hispanic area, he gets one or two jurors on the trial that identify with JB and want to see a hispanic succeed in the trial of the century.

It is just like the OJ trial with Johnny seeking that one african american .... JB is playing victim and seeking that one hispanic. JMHO.

I think you're right, all of you who have mentioned a change of venue to a high Hispanic population county (Miami). JB is reaching, he has nothing, he's hoping for a juror or 2 who will identify with him. I am wondering if we will hear him speak in spanish to the court/jurors. I wouldn't put it past him. All I have ever gotten was him complaining about this or that ---- he does more whinning than anything else...this case isn't about Caylee---it is turning into who is who in the land of "victims" of the media.... I remember his media blitz in Dec (right as Caylee was found) and he was complaining that he couldn't do a good job becuase he was constantly defending or speakingto the media....seems to me he calls the media and announces these pressers.....

Loved it last night when others said he should have just read a stmt and moved on...also there was that one reporter that was on JVM..on one of the coverages you can see her do an eyeroll during one of jb stmts...he really doens't impress much....he needs to stick to the law...as for him saying not to try it in the media--he is the one going there--always promising more than delivery....now he has a motion to reveiw the crime scene...how it isn't fair that others have been there...well you REFUSED to go there----:bang:
