WASHINGTON, D.C. An appeals court says there will be no new trial for a former District of Columbia judge who tried to sue his dry cleaners for $54 million over a lost pair of pants.
The D.C. Court of Appeals on Thursday rejected the request from Roy L. Pearson to overturn a 2007 ruling that denied him damages.
