Our beautiful benefactor also has lost a sibling to homicide.

She tells me of how she gathered the energy to leave her home and chose ONE store to go to to make these purchases as that was all the energy she had.

She had an idea she would buy earrings for all the girls..easy, and everyone likes them and small.

But she walks in to the store and something compels her to the BACK. It's not easy for her to walk but she instead of going to the right which is the way she always goes, goes to the left in the BACK and sees the Vera Bradley collection.

she's immediately drawn to the ELEPHANTS, but usually she goes for flowers so she doesnt know herself why these elephants are calling to her. Let's revisit the elephants shall we?

She purchases EVERY SINGLE COSMETIC BAG of that design in the store and is told it's gone out of print...these are the last that will be sold.

As BB (Beautiful Benefactor) and I talk, I am now sitting outside the hospital for my brother but I do'nt want to get off the phone, we are just having a moment of kindred spirithood that you don't get every day. We KNOW this is big, we KNOW we have both been guided and used. She believes Travis is guiding this whole thing.

Wow KCL, you keep showing up and you are continually used! You AND BB are an inspiration to never underestimate the importance and power of our own lives, thoughts, and ideas. Great things can come from small acts.


It was clear Travis' goal was to inspire and touch people. He had no idea how incredibly successful he would be.

Have you ever in your life been in total awe? I can't even find words for what happened today. It's one of the most amazing stories that I have ever heard. God is guiding everyone in this case, including JM. This is exactly why Juan is so driven to get justice for Travis and his family

The person who purchased these amazing gift for those directly involved in this case, will have a star in his/her crown. What a selfless, kind, thoughtful person.

Since these are rather expensive gifts she purchased and sent from all of us, can we please send a donation to you that you can give to her to help out paying for them? I personally would like to help defray the cost of these gifts so we too can actually be an actual part.

Thank you for "getting it" you guys. I'm sort of breathless putting all of that in to words. What a day at the end of "what a week".

I do think we are ALL connected in this. As I've said before we all play our roles.

BB is an inspiration to me to continue to listen to those inner callings and ACT on them. And see how much joy and upliftment she now has from the actions she took.

I said opening that box felt like opening a baby in swaddling cloths. She took just that much care packing and preparing those gifts. I will give the ones for Martinez and Flores to the victim advocate and there is one for her too. And I will have my elephant cosmetic bag in my purse every day in court from here on out. You can bank on that!
