Now, doing a little sleuthing and discovered over at http://www.sunbiz.org that the NLHF president/officer (WR) has resigned effective 09/08 and there is a new board. Interesting that he has purported phone sex lines in addition to telemarketing lines. Wasn't it once postulated that KC was involved in purported phone sex? Hmmmm. Well, maybe not, no phone records of that (unless the other 'lost' phone was used?). Can't prove that so it's a rumor. But, still, the NLH director resigned and I bet that's why the website is under construction. That org is going through major revamps.

I have made copies of all the information found so far and do plan to sent this to more than one authority. I just spoke with a good investigative reporter who I trust, and am copying them to send to him in the morning.

I do believe this needed thoroughly investigated, and with just what ones here have found, I feel it is enough for the feds. State agencies notoriously don't do much, but once the feds get involved everyone gets going.

I don't know any reporters, but I do know how to contact reputable magazine/newspaper staff without it being a "Letter to the Editor." If just one good reporter gets hold of this, it could be very good to curtail all kinds of "predatory charities" that are out there.

I join you in writing to more than one authority. And will add contacting media.

Thank you OcalaMom. I didn't know that (I'm not in Fla). Anyone contacting the AG office, wouldn't the AG office then forward to the proper agency? Or at least tell the inquiring consumer where to direct their concerns? Hope so.

Amazing amount of work!!!!!! Please keep us informed. This sure is an education. Makes one wonder where the media is when the public is being scammed. Don't the TV stations and news papers have investigative people. Oh! sorry they majored in PR for the crooks.
Wake up America! Picking on TM or LP, the two who are searching, and the others only blowing BS. No wonder Tim got out of Orlando. He's better off where he is needed.

You may be correct. Well, you're in Florida, so I'd say you know better than I.

Oh, and anyone who fears the entity you complain about will come after you if you file a complaint against them, just check the box withholding authorization for the agency to send them notification. As long as you do not lie, you have nothing to fear.

I called the orlando sentinel on friday, talked with a guy who talked to their reporter, they said they'll call back, they are aware of the situation with kid finders. Let's hope they do a story.

Ok guys--It seems that there are quite a few new followers of the charade so I feel that I have to be honest with you.

I am a member of the previous group that investigated the goings on in regards to KFN and a whole mess of other entities

We compiled a 90 page (yes 90) report on the goings on we uncovered--Previously here on WS we had 8 threads devoted to what we researched that were pulled along with a seperate thread devoted to agencies to contact in regards to the information and the agencies where we found the information

We hate to see anyone duplicating our work as it is a daunting task and someone upthread mentioned it took us 100s of hours to complete it and they were correct because not only did we work on KFN but we went thru and did EVERYONE associated with the money aspect and let me tell you it garnered us no favors with some in the online community

We turned over our work to different LE agencies in Florida and they are well aware of us and our findings and have been in contact with us since we submitted the report

Now I can tell you that part of our report was released but not by us and in light of the events in the last few days concerning KFN we are glad that people are starting to see what we seen at the start of this case

I wonder and hope that maybe Tricia will allow the threads to come back as a reference guide of sorts since DM shone the not so favorable light onto himself and is now putting on a press conference to rake in more donations

I don't think so. I think LA's gf's initials are MP.

You don't have to be holding a raffle ticket to complain to any consumer protection agency about a fraud being perpetuated on the public. I figured if the email came from an attorney, acting as an attorney; and, if they failed to respond, then unquestionably something fraudulent probably has occurred. If they don't respond I will just send a copy of my email and a declaration that they never responded to the appropriate agency in Florida to investigate.

No, they're different people. MM is the KFN "owner's" daughter, and MP is LA's girlfriend.
