I wonder how many of the lost and missing are buried within a mile of interstate highways, which themselves are probably this country's largest mapped graveyards.

I wonder if he was traveling by car? if he was and there were bodies of water maybe he plunged into one of them.

There are also multiple bodies of water in the areas that andrew would have to drive through.

Bumping for Andrew . So sad we don’t know if he was driving, taking a bus, taking a train or hitchhiking.

My grandma was dating Andrew’s father around the time he disappeared. To bad she have since passed.

She never mentioned him. My friend in law enforcement got ahold of Andrews sister Mary Elkins a few years ago. Mary said she didn’t know why Andrew was considered missing still, and that he was dead. So not sure if she knows more about the disappearance then she likes to let on.

Oh wow.. yes sounds like she knew more or she just after all these years has accepted it as death or just does not want to talk about it. Maybe they know he died but never found the body. It’s strange he is still all over missing persons. oh either way it’s sad. Thank you so much for your response and help on the thread.

Upthread someone posted that Andrew is not Gacy Victim #10?

I know that dates are always iffy -- but Andrew disappeared later than the dates suggested by LE. Not much later, but later.
