Following up on this case after a couple of months and it sounds like mom was having separation anxiety that she didn't know how to deal with and it exasperated her further when daughter Ellie came home from college for summer break. That's actually not so unusual and I only wish that her mom understood this and received professional support for this if not from her husband.

(I understand that Ellie previously went on an exchange program to Italy without any incident or overreaction from the parents).

IMO, something physical happened between the parents after Ellie departed that evening. Reportedly, the usual scenario would be for Angela to kick dad out of the house and not Ellie. I'm inclined to believe something happened while Angela was in an angry, irrational state-- maybe even violent, and the incident resulted in her death.

If this was an accident, dad certainly failed to respond like a normal person and seek aid for the injured party. Instead, dad spent considerable time conjuring up various stories to cover up what actually happened.

I think both parents were not equipped to communicate with each other (or their child) about anything other than household chores.

Maybe dad's siblings (Brad & Marva) might be able to get the truth out of him.

Glad this story received much attention and that there's resolution and justice for Angela soon.

Has there been any word on the results of the warrants? It's doubtful if there is no arrest yet - I do wonder if luminol revealed something but it's been many months now.

I just listened to the PE interview and I was listening for hints about the SW and there was nothing. I've not looked up the rules for KS -- maybe they're like Colorado and will remain sealed from the public as long as the investigation is deemed active.

ETA: add link

I can hardly believe it isn't a crime to not report your wife missing - and the ever changing stories about where Mom was?? it has me shaking my head

Thanks for the links. In part 2, EG accuses her dad of hiring a criminal defense attorney that specializes in defending "involuntarily manslaughter." That sounds about right to me..

In Angela Green Part 2 -- The Vanished Podcast, at [01:12] EG points out to her father that he has hired a criminal defense attorney, in response to her request for assistance in determining what happened to her mother, and in response to the police questioning him about Angela's disappearance.

It is painful to listen to how her own father attempts to blame her for simply trying to get to the truth.

Dec. 22, 2020 - Mike, from Profiling Evil with news of a new search warrant being executed. PE was hired by the Dr. Phil Show to investigate Angela's case. Working with a team of experts, and following leads, they uncovered some additional information that had not been previously discovered. As a result, an excavation is now being done in Kansas, by the Prairie Village PD, behind a piece of property.

OK, to be clear, this link is from March 2020 and not connected to the PE Dec 22, 2020 update cited in the post above!

Does anybody know when the DR PHIL SHOW referenced by Mike on 12/22 youtube aired?

ETA: This is a bit confusing but it seems that DR PHIL aired around Dec 1, and PE featured Angela on Choir Practice #17 - Dec 7; and Dec 10.

Odd that PE did not tweet about this new, breaking information today.

I dunno -- listening to Mike King's youtube uploaded today, I was under the impression there was a new search warrant issued and a current search underway?

Huh?

My mistake! I thought that I had found a current article. Thanks for noticing the date, Seattle1!

In today’s PE, there’s a quick clip of the ongoing search and it appears it is a different residence than the other two searches conducted at a home and business earlier in the year. Nothing in MSM as far as I can tell.

Thanks @susiQ.

Was this during the Randy Leach YT episode or the Miller/Haynes case in Oklahoma?
