Impossible to imagine her nightmare. She is a good subject for that ID show Evil Lives Here.

I can't imagine what that poor woman must have been through.

Stand by your man - I don't understand how his wife and the children remained so devoted to him after they learned of his evil side. The granddaughter seemed to adore him.

“Nancy testified that the prospect of Robinson’s execution has had a devastating impact on their entire family, the appeal said. “If Robinson were sentenced to life imprisonment, Nancy said, the family would continue to maintain a relationship with him. Nancy, in particular, always stood by Robinson. She testified on his behalf when he was convicted of fraud in Johnson County in 1986. She stayed with him after his theft conviction in Missouri and when he went back to prison after his probation was revoked. Despite Robinson’s multiple, ongoing extramarital affairs, Nancy stayed in the relationship. Even Robinson’s conviction for capital murder did not break their marriage. Despite everything, Nancy testified that she still shared a bond with Robinson and that it would continue if the jury spared his life.”

Why is this xxxxbag still alive? He was sentenced to death years ago but he's alive.
Really we have some serious issues about our criminal justice system in this country.

Maybe he still has money tucked away and provides for them? For some, money is all important.

Maybe, but I don't think she stuck with him only because of money. They've known each other a long, long time. She said "she shared a bond with Robinson". Makes me think she might have known things and protected him for some reason. This guy had a ton of stuff going on - those start-up businesses, the five computers, the slave master hook ups, the murders, etc., Didn't she know anything about it? I'm trying to understand how he was also this great family man. Any books written about him yet?

"... met her future husband, John Robinson, in 1963 in Oak Hill, Illinois. The couple had a whirlwind romance, and married several months after they met. The couple moved to the Kansas City area in late 1963 or early 1964, according to an appeal filed in his case.

The couple had four children, and they lived in a a three-bedroom modular home in Olathe, Kansas at the Santa Barbara Estates, a large mobile home community. Nancy Robinson worked for the community as an on-site office manager starting in 1997."

ETA= reading the appeal answers some of my questions.

Anyone have an idea where his La Cygne farm was actually located, we just purchased a tract of land and found out about this case and were curious how close we are or (if we purchased it). TIA!
