WI - Sade Robinson, 19, Critical Missing, student at Milwaukee Area Tech College, car found burned near 30th & Lisbon, Milwaukee, 1 Apr 2024 *arrest*

So this CI knew his plans, did nothing, and STILL took him TWO WEEKS after Sade went missing to speak to police?
Yeah this was wild to me. I can only assume/hope that this was a case of "we all just thought he had a morbid sense of humor"?

Having said that, without getting specific, there were definitely things on social media floating around when this story broke that made it seem like this guy being a totally scary weirdo with a creepy house was not something no one knew/was concerned about.

Anderson Charges Remain Combined

View the WISN-12 story to see the sharp new haircut Maxwell Anderson is sporting after his summer in jail. IMO, classic preparations for trial, rehabbing one's appearance, leaving the wild side behind, likely at the urging of his attorney.

Five-million-dollar bail nobody wants to pay, including his family.

It's September now, coming up on six months since Sade Robinson was murdered, the crime discovered when one of her legs was discovered along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Since then, a combination of searching and the natural drift of water have resulted in more of her remains being recovered, but one leg, one arm and her head have yet to be found. Perhaps they never will be.

Sade is still very much remembered here in the city, I think.

“People should be thoroughly ashamed of the way that Ms. Robinson has been treated for wanting this,” Martinez said at a meeting of the parks and culture committee. “I just want to say shame on people for treating a grieving mother this way and making it a race thing and treating her as subhuman when it’s absolutely unnecessary and absolutely unethical and it shows the most disgusting and detestable parts of our society.”

People should be thoroughly ashamed, included the committee members who caved because of the emails.

"Sade is speaking to me, and she wants us to be able to help others," Scarbrough said. "Listen to the stories of individuals like myself and what I've had to go through. And what many other individuals in the BIPOC community have to go through — and how strongly this is needed."

Two bars in downtown Milwaukee overserved 19-year-old Sade Robinson, leaving her vulnerable to the man whom prosecutors say killed and dismembered her, according to a lawsuit filed by her family.

An attorney for Robinson's estate filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Twisted Fisherman, LLC, and Duke's On Water, Inc

She argued staff at each establishment didn't ask for her ID before she was served multiple alcoholic beverages, but sold them to her anyway.

Robinson was later seen "visibly intoxicated" and "rendered defenseless," the lawsuit contends, leaving her "physically and mentally vulnerable" to the man with whom she was last seen and was ultimately charged in her gruesome killing.

I’m new to this case but the circumstances remind me of Ingrid Lyne. She met her killer on Plenty of Fish, and they’d been out maybe once or twice before the night she was killed. They’d gone to a baseball game and back to her house and then, for unknown reasons (he claims he was so intoxicated that he doesn’t remember what happened), he killed her, dismembered her body in the bathtub with a saw he found in her shed, discarded her remains in various trash bags and tossed them in random recycling bins around the city. Some poor unsuspecting people came home and found parts of her remains after they went to pull their bin in from the curb and noticed something was still inside.

I sure hope WI has higher sentencing guidelines than the state of WA does! Ingrid’s killer pled guilty to first-degree murder and was only given a sentence of 27 years!

Sade was such a beautiful young woman taken in such a horrific way.

I've been following this case closely from Ireland. As a Woman myself and someone who would have used dating apps in the past to go on dates. This is every Woman's worst nightmare. Praying for Justice for this beautiful young Woman & her family. Justice for Sade 🙏🏻🩷

Pizza Shuttle manager Mahutma Nelson hopes the trial will lead to peace for Sade's family, too.

"Her friends and family come to fill up her flowers, and they come out here with speakers and really come and vibe with her. This is where her presence will be. This is Sade's place," Nelson said.

The trial begins Tuesday with jury selection. Opening statements could come sometime Wednesday in the trial, which is expected to last two weeks

On April 1, 2024, Robinson went on a first date with 34-year-old Anderson, and a surveillance camera captured the two together. Anderson, who worked at different bars in Milwaukee, had previously pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct charges after three separate fights within five years.

The day after the date, a hiker found Robinson's leg on the beach at Warnimont Park in Cudahy, and more of her remains later turned up in both Wisconsin and Illinois.

Prosecutors plan to call some 250 witnesses to the stand, nearly half of them law enforcement, including lead investigators from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, Milwaukee police detectives, and officers from Cudahy and St. Francis police departments, as well as medical examiners and other forensic scientists.

The FBI and ATF are also on the prosecution list, along with Robinson's family members, bar owners, and employees of the Milwaukee County Transit System
