Yes, he was talented. Looking at his artwork from just a year ago---such a good artist.

Parker John Mays, 27, was arrested at his home in Lawrence around 4 p.m. Jan. 14, 2020, according to the police affidavit supporting his arrest. Other court documents list the address of his family’s Overland Park home for Mays.

Allegations in affidavits have not been proved in court, and defendants in criminal cases should be presumed not guilty unless and until they are convicted.

According to the affidavit:

Mays went to a Lawrence business and tried to buy a rifle. The document does not specify the business. He reportedly told employees that his family was dead and he needed a firearm to protect himself; he also told them that “the City of Baldwin had moved.”

Video from a neighbor’s house reportedly shows Mays’ van pulling into the driveway of the Overland Park home at 12:24 p.m. Jan. 14. He left at 12:53 p.m.

At 1:26 p.m., a woman reportedly called police to say she saw a van headed westbound on Interstate 435 to westbound Kansas Highway 10. She said she saw the driver throw a boot, two gloves and a floormat out of the van as he drove. Officers found the items and some had apparent blood on them, according to the affidavit.

wow, it was right there in his IG on that day.....he was ranting about the city moving, and he was behind the move, .....I bet he tried to tell his sister and she tried to reason with him, poor girl....

Parker Mays on Instagram: “That’s not where Baldwin city used to be”

you can see evidence of his meltdown. Look at his most recent IG posts. He seems to be having an breakdown 6 days ago, which would be the 20th. :(

Yes Katy you called it from that instagram post. I feel sad as I know where all these places are. Lawrence being a University town has all kinds of different people living there. Mays probably felt he really fit in with many people with differing opinions. There is the downtown area where people of all walks of life are at anytime. I believe this where his first arrest occurred. I don't know if my words are coming off as they way I want.

There are just many people of all walks of life in Lawrence, KS. I don't know if any other people out there on WS is familiar with Lawrence and KU.

Please indulge my old self here/not too SM savvy. I saw one overt n-word photo that was most disturbing. I believe he was arrested for a pro-American flag event, but I admit I need to learn more about that arrest. What white supremecist stuff has he posted?

And you're right, 30 minutes in and out, that boy was pissed and on a mission.

I think it is pretty much the same just different folk and some new types of behaviors is all. Some are probably very similar to what you remember. Still the laid back community as it probably was back then. Just a lot more crime now. imho

His SM is riddled with anti african american and anti semetic postings and comments. He was arrested at a rally that attracted other white supremecists groups.

You can easily look it up yourself
