He has stood out to me since his arrest, and I won't change my mind until they charge somebody else. He seems to have the personality of a rattlesnake.
I'm thinking you may have nailed it. We need to keep an eye on this person plus others who may have been in the mix.

Checked Salina Post for Sunday, nothing about Lori. Did notice a pic on somebody who was arrested today who could fit the description of the younger of the two suspects.
Hi glf- this was your post dated
7/17. Do you know this person's name or what he'd been arrested for?

No, sorry. I will see if I can find out tomorrow.

Just thought I'd post this address. They (the family) give updates on the investigation and explain why the KBI doesn't want sketches of vehicles and men described as being in the area at the time as their fear is, the public can become too focused on these vehicles and men when they may have nothing to do with the crime. The last entry was August 23, and people feel the word is getting out about Heimer.

To Lori's family: I'm keeping the faith that this barbarian will be caught! I understand how you must feel, trying to raise money for the reward to get somebody to talk. But they could be just terribly afraid with this butcher on the loose.
We had a murder in SE Kan about 11 years ago, somebody messed with a drlg rig, and caused an explosion and two men were killed. There has been a 50,000.00 reward since the week afterward, and still no arrests. So, I'm thinking what could be holding somebody back is they can't afford to move, and fear for their life if they stayed and talked. Somebody once said they would use the reward to move away, but that is also for arrest and conviction. Hopefully, somebody will be able to talk soon in this cold case, and somebody can talk soon in Lori's case. Good luck with your fundraiser events. I follow this case daily.

What's being said? I am not home where I can look!

Not much new really. They did list the vehicle descriptions again.

They continue to focus on anyone who had an appt. w/ Lori from June 20 to the 25.

Also, the neighbors, who have been extremely cooperative have said there has been some unusual activity around the area in the weeks and months following the murder. Police have been back to the farm at least once.

That's got to be so frightening...

I wonder what they mean by unusual activity?

I wonder if it's just people driving by, rubbernecking.

I don't know... Probably people driving by "to see where" ... I don't know. The whole community is probably scared. I sure would be. This happened in brad daylight, which would make matters worse.

Whatever suspicious activity that has been seen since Lori died, could be about anything, especially with neighbors being so shocked and saddened, but also afraid this creep might come back looking for another victim. I hope the people have only seen a bunch of nosy birdbrains, and not somebody who could be dangerous. I hope there's an arrest soon!

I don't know. If it is only once, that's pretty pitiful.

do you have a link for this Razz about the neighbors talking about unusual activity? I haven't seen that.. Thanks.
