Thank you @max99 ! :)

She's apparently had some mental issues:

"In a series of 2018 tweets Fitzgerald pleaded to the Chief of Staff of the US Army and the Chief of Naval Operations to remove nanotechnology and a voice-to-skull microwave transmitter she believed were implanted by the FBI, the NSA and Lockheed Martin during a trip to the dentist."

and recently married to a movie/film music composer according to her instagram:

I wondered about mental health issues, she looks rather psycho in her mug shot. Sounds like she’s been reading Dean Koontz then taken it a bit too seriously.

@max99 - anything "new" on the court site? Meaning next court date? Did she plead not guilty?

TIA! :)

@Niner if you can read all of this.

JMO
I tend to agree that she may have been dealing with some issues because in Jewel's post with the court details, there is this below. Unless that is a standard protocol for anyone charged with a crime like this.

"MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION PRIOR TO BONDING; FOLLOW MENTAL HEALTH RECOMMENDATIONS INCLUDING TAKING OF MEDICATION AS PRESCRIBED"

The other thought I had was the "move" which causes anyone affected by moving to have increased stress in their lives. So even though the Mom was the one moving, its possible the daughter had increased stress too with her Mom moving. So maybe a heated argument turned violent related to the stress of the move.

This link below lists "moving" as one of the top 5 stressers in life.

"The top five most stressful life events include:

  • Death of a loved one
  • Divorce
  • Moving
  • Major illness or injury
  • Job loss
"
The Top 5 Most Stressful Life Events

Below is the part in one article that talks about the victim being in the process of moving.

"According to the Kansas City Star, the victim was in the process of moving back to Kansas City from Texas when she was killed"

An actress who appeared in “Captain America: The First Avenger” accused of fatally stabbing her mother in Kansas will represent herself in the criminal case, according to a report.
[.....]
Fitzgerald, 38, has a law degree from the University of Houston that she intends to utilize at trial, she told a judge. She also objected to her ex-husband, Corey Jackson, being called as a witness, the newspaper reports.

Fitzgerald remained jailed on $500,000 bail as of early Friday, records show. She’s due to return to court on Thursday [(1/9/20)].

Well we know representing yourself usually doesn't work out! At least not in the cases that I have seen. imo

Well at least she went to law school... but I guess we shall see how this plays out. I believe she'll get a lawyer though.
