If you look at Allison's Facebook page, you'll find a George Walker in her friend's list. I'm assuming that that's the "gentlemen" that's been arrested for allegedly murdering Allison.

These are just my thoughts, but I wonder if George and Allison were married at some point, again, assuming that they are not brother and sister or something.

She's apparently in a relationship with someone else, so I wonder if that plays a part as to why she's no longer with us. A black woman dating a white man isn't something I see very often, although I see it more and more these days, but does that play a factor in her murder?

This one is getting to me because the vic. looks identical to a relative of ours. So sad😢😟

If the bro-in-law did kill her I hope we find out the reason, this was senseless, r.i.p Allison

The Adairville man accused of murdering his sister-in-law is expected to have his case brought before a Logan County Grand Jury on Friday, Jan. 29...

Harvey said that initially George Walker said that he had heard “in the wind” that Allison Walker’s body was in the river. Later on in the interview, George Walker admitted to choking his sister-in-law, tying her hands and feet with rope and dragging her down to the river before dumping her body...

Maddox did ask whether George Walker indicated his motive for the murder to Harvey. Harvey said the only explanation given was that it was over a “wrong belief” but gave no further explanation about what sort of belief it was.

Walker, 20, is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence in a case in which he is accused of killing his sister-in-law, 23-year-old Allison Walker, on Dec. 21 at the residence the she and her husband shared with George Walker.

The case is set for a jury trial beginning Sept. 12, and a number of hearings over the past several months have focused on whether forensic tests and reports related to the evidence will be completed ahead of the scheduled trial.

Logan Circuit Judge Tyler Gill ordered Walker and the attorneys involved to return to court Aug. 11 for a status conference.

George M. Walker, 21, of Adairville, appeared in Logan Circuit Court on Thursday for a review of his case.

At the hearing, Walker's court-appointed attorney, Nathan Beard, said that he had been informed that the Kentucky State Police has completed some DNA tests of evidence that had been gathered by law enforcement over the course of the death investigation.

"We're being told it's going to take until March to finish the testing," Beard said.

Logan Circuit Judge Tyler Gill set another hearing for Dec. 1.

No new trial date has been established.

Kentucky is sloooooooow when it comes to processing DNA evidence.

The posts from her husband are heartbreaking. It really sounds like he loved her with all of his heart.

Her and the husband seemed like a nice couple, I really want to know why his brother killed her *allegedly *

Jury seated in Logan murder trial

A jury was seated in Logan Circuit Court to hear the case against George Walker, 22, of Adairville, who is charged with murder and tampering with physical evidence.

He is accused of causing the death of Allison Walker, 23, whose body was found Dec. 23, 2015, in the Red River near the Conn Road house near Adairville where she, her husband and George Walker lived together.

Jurors will also be taken to the house where the homicide is said to have occurred and to the area of the river behind the house where authorities found Allison Walker's body.

Suspect's confession focus in murder trial

On Tuesday, jurors watched more than two hours of video footage from the body camera of Deputy Kyler Harvey of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, which showed George Walker talking to Harvey and other law enforcement officials on the night of Dec. 22, 2015, after Allison Walker was reported missing but before her body was found.

George Walker appears reluctant at first to answer questions about his sister-in-law’s whereabouts, but toward the end of the video he claims to have had sex with Allison Walker before choking her in the kitchen of the house they shared with her husband, Chris Walker, tying her hands and feet and dragging her body to the river.

At multiple points in the video, George Walker said he did not consider himself a “snitch,” prompting Harvey to ask him to elaborate.

“I basically told on myself,” Walker said in the video.

Chris Walker was described by Bibb as cooperative during the interview. Bibb testified that in a missing persons investigation, he usually tries to speak with the spouse of the missing person first because the spouse is often the last person known to have seen the person.

Bibb’s report from the interview noted that Chris Walker hesitated when Bibb asked if he did anything to his wife and also hesitated before responding to another question about whether Allison Walker was safe.

Bibb also testified that Chris Walker changed some information over the course of his interview, namely that he initially told the detective he and his wife had no recent arguments before Allison Walker went missing, only to later acknowledge that the couple had an argument the night before she disappeared.

Acting Commonwealth Attorney Justin Crocker said that the evidence would show that George Walker was responsible because he confessed to police that he committed the crime and also took them directly to the spot in the Red River where he allegedly disposed of her body.

Defense attorney Nathan Beard, however, made the argument that George Walker confessed just to keep his brother, Chris Walker, out of trouble. Chris Walker was married to Allison Walker and George Walker lived with them at a residence in south Logan County off Conn Road in the Schochoh area. Beard also pointed out in his opening statement that Chris Walker may have had a physically abusive relationship with Allison.

“Chris told different stories to police and Allison’s family,” Beard said. “The only reason George is here is because he lied to protect his brother. You’ll also see that Chris lied to protect himself.”
