Woman missing nearly 4 months
Associated Press PIKEVILLE -- Stress has started to show on Myrtle Branham's face.

Branham doesn't know what has become of her granddaughter, Crystal Gail Branham Hall, who disappeared sometime after speaking with a relative on March 3.

"I think I could find her If I could find a little lead," Branham said.

The Appalachian News-Express reported that Hall's family has put flyers up across southeastern Kentucky and parts of Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.

I was checking the WYMT-TV website from Hazard,Kentucky today and found this updated link regarding the disappearance of Crystal Gayle (Braham) Hall.

According to WYMT-TV, Crystal Gayle (Braham) Hall of Pikeville,Kentucky has been missing for 8 months. Her family would like to find her before Christmas.

WYMT-TV reported that Crystal was last seen March 1st at her sister's apartment in Pikeville. Crystal had no car there and her purse and coat were still inside after she went missing.

Did she live with her three little boys or has her gramma always taken care of them? In one article it said that she didn't miss a day or night without talking to her boys. It sounded like she wasn't raising them.

What about a husband or ex-husband? The articles don't give much info at all. Did her and her ex get along? Any domestic violence when they were together? Did she have a boyfriend...if so, any problems there?

Crystal has been gone a long time. She either left and doesn't want to be found which doesn't sound like the case according to her family...or something has happened to her. I would just like to know who was in her life at the time she disappeared.

Crystal hasn't been seen or heard from the last several months and to me that doesn't sound good at all.

I don't think she left on her own accord. I believe that something has happened to her.

According to an June 2009 newspaper article from Pikeville, her family fears that this case will have the worst possible outcome.

So, someone knocked on her backdoor, she obviously went to answer it, there are no signs of struggle in the house and considering she left all of her things behind it seems most likely whoever it was probably forced her into a car. If she was abducted then statistics show us she most likely knew her abductor. I have not heard anything about her children's father. Were they all by the same dad? Were there any issues between them?
She had a history of drug use and even spent time in jail - is it possible she owed a drug dealer money?

Whatever the case it does not look good.

said she was thrown down a mine shaft, after
some very cruel things that were done to her.
Of course, have to take that with a block of salt,
as topix is not reliable.
Anyone can say anything.
They did mention a person's name and
others said it was reported to LE.

I went and re-read her entry on the Charley Project and it says she told her friend someone was coming in the backdoor. So, you are right it doesn't say anything about someone knocking.

As for the drug issue it says she suffered from drug addiction and spent a yr in jail on drug related charges which could mean a variety of things.

Did they check her phone records? (whichever phone she used last) because it sounds like someone called her up, asked her to meet them outside. Was she fighting with any boyfriends/friends? I could see something like "Hey sorry I got mad at you, come to the back door and we'll talk about it"

i found an extremely strange myspace where the person is named crystal and they are from Kentucky. But it sounds like they have.. something really odd going on. I'm going to delve deeper. Anyone else know which one I'm talking about? The myspace page was created march 27th. The last day they saw her was march 1st.

One year has passed since a young mother disappeared in Pike County and police are still looking for clues.

24 year old Crystal Branham Hall vanished in Pikeville around this time last year, leaving her three young sons without their mother.

Investigators say there is no trace of Hall.
