I think obtaining all the video footage they can along that River Road is going to probably solve this one.

"We see her here.........we see her here................we see her here....................oops !! don't see her pass by on this camera" !

There's your search zone.

Per the Facebook page FindGlenda, she has contacted her mother by phone. The poster then thanked people for their concern and help. I have nothing official other than that.

Actually, I believe it is Glenda's daughter who posted they have made contact. Unfortunately, it seems there will be ongoing emotional issues for this family, as the daughter seeems to be confused/hurt by whatever made mom leave thusw ay, whatever that may be. I really felt sad for her after reading her FB post.

Grateful we do not have a death or long-term missing case, though.

Glad to hear that! I am a nurse myself so this case really jumped out at me. I am wondering why it took her 11 days to make contact with authorities. I feel bad for her family and for her fellow nurses who spent time worrying about her. I hope she is well and this isn't a every few month kind of thing

Well, this pretty much ends her career as a travel nurse. No company's going to hire her with that on her record. Job abandonment and all.

Don't forget about leaving the pets behind unattended as well......................... I imagine the entire event will be covered up and tidied up so that future employers won't know a thing. She most likely will remove this last employer from her job resume'.

Yeah........I'll be forced to backtrack on this one and take back a bunch of musings I had about her being too responsible and considerate to simply run off and leave her daughter, her mother, her job, and her pets dangling in the wind. I think that roommate of hers knew a lot more than she was willing to offer up as well. Her casual approach to all of it seemed odd, but now it makes sense.

The one person we never heard from was the lady she had lunch with that day, so it was never established what her state of mind was, if she was hurried to leave the restaurant, if she alluded to any relationship problems, or if anything at all was discussed that might explain this.

Yes, I thinks it's odd that Glenda's friends seem to know what happened to her, but are they getting their info from LE, or are they drawing their own conclusions from something they know or suspect?

I would not abandon the landscape hazards. That is my usual gut instinct any more in a MP case where the vehicle is also missing. I was thinking Glenda may have gotten disoriented in the tangle of highways in downtown Louisville, and gotten on a bridge from which she entered the water. I vaguely remember a bridge I was on with someone else in the not too distant past. I don't remember if it was between Ohio and Ky (also spanning Ohio R), or somewhere else, but it was under construction and very confusing.

Has there been recent construction on the JFK or Lincoln bridge? Since they are toll bridges, I'd think there are plenty of cameras.
The bridge links Louisville with Indiana. The other bridge is a pedestrian bridge to Indiana and is very busy on nice evenings and there is a strong police presence (at least in the summer). The other bridge is extremely busy, well lit and has cameras and is now a toll bridge. I hope this works and you can see the pedestrian bridge. It changes colors about every 5 minutes.
