Unsolved Murder: James Anthony Galloway

James Anthony Galloway was reported missing in February, 1979 and his body has never been located.

The victim's pickup truck was discovered February 15th, 1979 on Winkler-Mt.Vernon Road near Habit, Kentucky.

Inside the truck, officers discovered a paper towel.

Wrapped inside the towel was a piece of human bone covered in blood. The blood was later determined to be of the same type as the victim but no other evidence has ever been found.

Circumstances of Disappearance
James Galloway was reported missing in February 1979 and his body had never been located. Officers discovered a paper towel inside the victim's abandoned pickup truck. Wrapped inside the towel was a piece of human bone covered in blood. The blood was later determined to be of the same type as the victim's.

James was last seen in Lewisport and was reported missing in February of 1979.

His truck was located on Winkler and Mt. Zion Road near Habit, Kentucky on February 15, 1979. Officers discovered a paper towel inside James' abandoned truck. Wrapped inside the towel was a piece of human bone covered in blood. The blood was later determined to be the same type as James', but no other evidence has ever been found. Foul play is suspected.

A 2018 article from the Hancock Clarion reported that Kentucky State Police Detective Marc Carter was looking into Marsch’s 1985 murder of Roger Boling, and that Carter potentially had enough evidence that Marsch was a serial killer who also murdered Galloway.>>

This is the only source I found for this information above...however they list James as dying Feb 15, 1979, and I don't believe his remains have ever been found. Very interesting info though.
