Kandi Gonzalez - Disappeared

36-year-old Kandi Gonzalez was last seen in Prestonsburg, Kentucky on June 1, 2021. Gonzalez disappeared after wandering into the backyard of a property on Abbott Creek Road, in a visibly distressed and disoriented state, before running away into a creek.
Kandi Green Gonzalez, of Paintsville, Kentucky, was born in December 1984 to parents Betty Jo and David Dixon.
In 2009, Gonzalez graduated from Lexington Healing Arts Academy in Lexington, Kentucky with a Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork certification. In 2011, she graduated from Spencerian College with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
At the time of her disappearance, Gonzalez worked as a self employed Licensed Massage Therapist. She lived with her boyfriend of two years, Jeff Blackburn, in a house in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

On the afternoon of June 1, 2021, Gonzalez was thrown out by her boyfriend of two years, Jeff Blackburn, from the house they shared together.
Gonzalez subsequently wandered into the backyard of a property on Abbott Creek Road, less than half a mile from her own home. She was recorded by someone on the property, pleading for help and asking people to call her mother, in a visibly distressed and disoriented state.
When the calls made to her mother’s phone went directly to voicemail, Gonzalez walked back and forth before eventually running through the backyard and into a creek.

Gonzalez’s shoes were found by her family in a nearby creek after her disappearance.
Authorities conducted searches in the creek area where she was last seen, using helicopters, drones, tracking and cadaver dogs, but found no signs of Kandi Green Gonzalez’s whereabouts.
Police found no evidence, means or motive for foul play in Kandi Green Gonzalez’s disappearance. The case is still ongoing but there’s currently no promising leads.
A $10,000 reward is being offered by Kandi Gonzalez’s family for information leading to her whereabouts.
