The FBI is like Tim Miller, if they are invited by the Lead Investigative Agency they will step in to help. Not limited to kidnapping, inter-state, or federal crimes. I've seen countless cases here at WS where the FBI becomes involved in cases.

It appeared to me she was in a catatonic state of fear, confusion and bewilderment.

I didn't say the people she encountered mistreated her, but they were a slack with genuinely helping her as a fellow human being in distress, and the boys in the car were judgemental and rude.

You said they treated her badly. I think the homeowner helped the best they could. If I were in their situation I would be concerned for her but also myself not knowing her or her circumstances and maybe called LE instead of her mother.

When she took off running towards the creek she looked almost like she was joyous, like a child running, skipping, and doing a little "hop" while raising her arms. In context though maybe she was jumping over some obstacle? I also can't tell if she had shoes on, I'll have to rewatch, but it doesn't look like she does when she's running.

I interpreted it differently; to me, she seemed completely panicked. I think she ran into and up the creek to avoid leaving a trail; I think she was truly afraid of being caught by......someone.

I agree, though I think she chose to follow the creek because she had no shoes on. Maybe when the boyfriend kicked her out, he threatened her life? I think it's really strange we have not heard from him. I'm sure the media knows his name (I found it without much effort), why has no one contacted/pursued him for a statement?

This whole case is just strange, from the video and people at the home - to LE and their lack of reaction to a missing person.

The only normal thing has been Candi's Mom and her pleas for help in finding her daughter.
 
Here in eastern Ky myself, and curious.. Wymt news posted the video of her in someone's back yard it was a strange video to watch. Why didn't they try to talk to her, or hold her til police came. She looked very disoriented somewhat scared even.. Really I cant imagine someone in my backyard acting like that, and me not trying to give her some sort of help.

Did they even call the police? If they did, I missed that report. I know the lady made a call to Kandi's mom, but I wasn't aware that she called LE.
 
From what someone told me when they made the call they wasn't letting her talk she was overheard in the background yelling something. From what I understood her mom could hear her telling the mother to come get her. Someone said she then went into the woods, and I am guessing that's where she was caught on video in the wooded area of someones backyard.. That is the part I don't get because shes in the backyard in a romper wondering around looking out of it. She is obviously in some sort of distress, and they don't do anything, but jerk their phone out and film?
 
You know i am going to look into that more because if they just filmed her, and did not call for help that seems weird in a way. This makes the second time the whole story of girl running into the woods and just vanishing has happened around here. Natasha Fugate Jones that was the same thing they said happened to her. Women do not run into the woods, and vanish like really. Although maybe that is a good defense, because Natasha still hasn't been found, and nobody convicted.
 
Over the years there have been people that came onto my property in various locations and I would try to get a photo or video after I called 911 or local marshals - just so I would have proof of what was going on.
Especially after their version was vastly different.

I get the hesitancy, she was acting strange. But Kandi was clearly in need of help- so discreetly call 911 and then try to coax her into sitting down and talking with you. Offer her a cold drink or washcloth. I never would have spoken to someone like Kandi was spoken too, that woman was just nasty and crass. Hope she never needs kindness or compassion for herself, because karma is a *itch.
 
Yeah I understand being scared, and thinking they are up to something shady. Really Just sad to hear about another young person missing. Frustrating around here because nothing never gets solved I feel. We have 4 people missing in our county from various decades that has never been solved. Also you really never know how you act under stressful situations, but she just looked kind of lost in the video. Really its just a sad situation. Guess I just wish someone would of done something for her, and this wouldn't of happened maybe.

I’m not on FB but I usually don’t have trouble accessing pages like this.
Just wondering if her friends, customers, coworkers have commented...telling of the last time they saw Kandi and if she told them of any issues, things going in her life that distressed her, etc.

Today makes a month since I have heard your frantic voice on a voice-mail message left for me saying Mom,Mom,Mom!!!! I Love you Kandi Green Gonzales, and I want you to know I Love you and I will never stop looking for you.!!!
I will continue To pray That The Holy Spirit Brings Conviction to The Person-persons that are responsible for your Disappearance,I know Kandi You are Alive and I am Trusting God To Deliver you from Those that are Holding You Captive......
