The Radcliff Police Department is looking for a local man reported missing Wednesday.
Friends and family reported Kenny M. Naidas Jr., 24, missing after he failed to return to the Radcliff home he shares with his fiancée at 1360 Bramblett Blvd. RPD spokeswoman Elaine Leach said Naidas' fiancée, who asked to remain unnamed, last spoke to him about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, and he has not returned home or reported to work since.
Police said Naidas had planned to stop at a store before returning home that afternoon.
"The circumstances are more unusual than suspicious," Leach said.
She also said Naidas' employer, United Parcel Service in Louisville, says it is unusual for Naidas not to show up for work without calling.
"From what we understand, he's a good employee with a good work ethic who is faithful and reliable," said Leach.
Leach said Naidas' car was discovered Thursday undisturbed at a parking lot that is shared by the Dollar General Store and Corbanos Italiana Restaurant on South Dixie Boulevard in Radcliff. Leach said the vehicle's location did not indicate which business Naidas might have been in, and there was nothing particularly suspicious about the way the car was left.
Leach said when an adult is missing, it is important to determine if the person is missing of his or her free will.
"We just need to know all is well with him," said Leach. Police encourage Naidas or anyone who might have seen Naidas to contact the detective section of the Radcliff Police Department at (270) 351-4477 or 351-4470.
Naidas was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and red and white Nike Air Jordans. He is described as being of Asian desent with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. Naidas also has a distinctive tattoo depicting the "Seal of Guam" on his left shoulder and a "Chamorro style art" tattoo on his neck.
