I totally agree, RIP Larry and Sandra!!

Cause of Death and Day of Death released in Blanton case.

Plus- Amanda was the one who led LE to the bodies.
In the plea deal, Amanda Fannin, 32, of Oil Springs agreed to divulge everything she knew about how the couple died, and where the couple’s remains could be found. This included information and testimony that would allow the Commonwealth Attorney to prosecute Willie Blanton for the deaths of his parents and concealing their remains.

At second news source,

According to court documents obtained by LEX 18, Fannin says "she played no role whatsoever in the deaths"

The terms of the agreement would mean Fannin cannot be prosecuted for crimes she may have committed after learning of the deaths

There's also an "agreement to never seek the death penalty for [Willie] Blanton."

I think we all felt this would be the case, but so hoping it wouldn't be. So sorry to hear it confirmed, but glad to know they have been found for some kind of closure for their family, friends and all who loved them...and of course, for the wheels of justice can beginning rolling. Just horrifying!!! :( RIP Larry and Sandra. :rose:

Good ! I Hope he enjoyed living large on their hard work while he could !
Now will he get to use 'their ' money for his defense lawyer?

RIP Sandara and Larry Blanton!! You are in God's loving arms now.
Heartbreaking!!

Looks like Amanda Fannin might be losing her plea deal.

In exchange for her information, the Commonwealth Attorney agreed to not prosecute her for any crimes she may have committed after learning of the deaths, and dismiss with prejudice the charges she already faced in Johnson County -- first-degree promoting contraband, and second-degree being a persistent felony offender. Prosecutors also agreed to not seek the death penalty against Willie Blanton as part of her plea deal.

But, now LE has found out that she knew more than she said she did- and may have been an active participant.

In the motion filed Tuesday in Johnson County Circuit Court, the Commonwealth Attorney said that on April 8, prosecutors became aware of statements made by Fannin to four other individuals that contradict the statement given to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.

These statements include “alleged statements made by Amanda Fannin which indicate that she helped in the disposal of the bodies, clean up of the murder scene and was present during the murder of at least Sandra Blanton.

If the plea agreement is thrown out, Willie Blanton could be facing the death penalty.

The way the Plea Agreement was written had me wondering if this very thing might happen. Seems that criminals always think they are smarter than everyone else.
