Thread after thread, after thread. So many missing and murdered littles. I’m thinking Serenity’s life was anything but serene. I started here many years ago when the JonBenet case was new. I left for many years. I came back with a new name. Not so eager to post anymore. All of these missing and murdered children really take a toll. If only we could save them all.

Local newspaper, Shelbyville Sentinel-News, specifically says Serenity was with her mother, who recently stopped communicating with family members.

According to Capt. Blake Lisby, SCSO, the mother is uncooperative. “She won’t talk to us about the girl,” Lisby said. “Serenity was uprooted from her family. The mother started her own life.

The article posted above saying she is believed to be with her ‘parents’ is wrong. It sounds like her parents are no longer together.

It sounds like her mother stopped communicating with family several months ago, but that hasn’t been verified. It’s unknown if anyone spoke to Serenity directly since they last saw her in December 2020.

yes, lots of them commenting. TOS prevents linking or discussion but I think I can say there is a plethora of photos of Serenity being shared there and I find that very helpful. The missing poster just has that one photo with her little nose scrunched up. I feel I have a much better idea of Serenity's appearance and little personality after viewing those additional pics.

Authorities say the girl’s mother was found in Jefferson County but getting answers hasn’t been easy.

That mother needs to be given a deadline to present her child to authorities to prove that the child is alive and well and NOT in any danger. We are done with the "hand wringing" and speculation that the little girl has disappeared into thin air, or that Mom has a wild hair and just doesn't feel like it. A deadline -- same thing happened in an Idaho case, as we are all probably aware. Hopefully, this one won't end as badly as the one in Idaho.

I agree! The thought occurred to me that Mom might be in a "delicate condition" and therefore LE doesn't want to have to take her in for not "cooperating." Just speculation on my part -- but how many times have we seen it? Out with the old (kid) and in with the new!

"We just want her safe and we hope that she is," said Aundria Wainscott, who identified herself as Serenity's grandmother.

Wainscott said she spoke with Serenity over the phone a few weeks before Father's Day in 2021, but since then, there has been no contact.

I think he was very much in her life. I think mum moved away with Serenity and her boyfriend and blocked everyone, including dad, from SM accounts. My opinion.

I get where you're coming from however we're talking about a 4yr old vs an adult. I would hope LE would do whatever they need to do to make sure this baby is safe and then deal with the adult issues. Someone needs to advocate for all of these children, if parents aren't going to then shame on them and LE/child services etc need to. IMO

Just reading between the lines a bit. Sounds like Mom found a new (May 2020) boyfriend and later isolated herself and Serenity from the extended family. It's scary when we hear about a new relationship, there are times that doesn't bode well for a child. There's only one reason a parent would refuse to produce a child to law enforcement
