The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old female juvenile from Grayson County. Stephanie Pelfrey was last seen around the Wilderness Road area off of Grayson Springs Road in Clarkson around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The sheriff was able to contact 17-year-old Stephanie Pelfrey on social media. Pelfrey was reported missing on January 3, 2017 from the Wilderness Dr. area in Clarkson. Pelfrey was advised to go to a local police station and let them see that she was safe. The Springfield Police Department met with Pelfrey at their office where he confirmed that she was safe. She was then released and was removed from the NCIC database as missing. According to the sheriff's department, she turns 18 in few days and there was no “pickup order” on her.
