Perry County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing woman

Officers say Veronica Sweet was last seen on Friday at around 10:30 p.m. at 126 Boone Ledge Drive in Hazard.

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a missing woman.

Officers say 28 year old Veronica Sweet was last seen on Friday at around 10:30 p.m. at 126 Boone Ledge Drive in Hazard.

Sweet is said to be missing from an assisted living facility and is diagnosed with multiple mental health disorders.

Sweet is described as 5 ft 4 inches with brown hair and blue eyes. She has two visible tattoos on her arms, one saying “Faith” and the other “Hope.”

Officers say Sweet could have family in Covington and could be in the Mount Sterling area.

Anyone with information on where Sweet might be is asked to call 911.
