GUILTY LA - Clara 'Patty' Bynog, 46, Natchitoches, 13 Dec 2009

I requested to join this group the other day...I have not been excepted so far.

I search everyday for ANY information I can find on this case.

Last I read, searches were being planned...but, I can't find anything after that.

My question...were the searches carried out?

Also, in Topix when this first came out, there was chatter about a man that Clara was last seen with, that he had been arrested on another charge and FWIW, chatter on topix was he had something to do with her dissappearence.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here.
It's so frustrating to want to get info on this and there just is not much out there.

After all, she is somebody's mother and I'm sure they love and miss her.
It must be horrible not to know what happened and it seems like nothing is being done at all to find her.

I just sent an email to KSLA.com's news department.
They had an article dated 1/5/2010 saying searches were underway.
I asked if there were any updates. Will post if I hear back from them.

I can not find any information as to if the searches are still going on or if they did actually search.

I cannot find any updates either.
Her FB page is not updated.
I asked to join awhile back and have not been accepted.

I sent an email to the sheriff's office.
Hopefully will hear back.

No word from the e-mail I sent to the news station.

I don't know what to think about this one.

Seems there would be some word...I'm assuming she is still missing.

I wonder if they are thinking she left on her own? Then why the talk of searches?
Seems this lady has been forgotten. So sad.

Its been more than a month since a Natchitoches Parish woman disappeared, and now her family prays for a miracle. Clara Patricia Bynog was last seem by her family on December 13.

Sunday night dozens gathered in a church in the city of Natchitoches to share their memories of Patty, as her family know her, and most of all pray for her safe return. Bynog's daughter says the feeling of not knowing what happened to her mother is unbearable.

Thanks for the update summer breeze.

I wonder if this family is hounding the LE? Or the media?

I can't say for sure what I'd be doing, but I would like to think I'd be ever present at the Police Station asking questions, wanting answers.

I would also like to know if the searches took place and what, if anything, they came up with from them.

I'm still very concerned about the man that people were talking about in Topix. I know that's not a reliable news source and it's full of crazy comments. RUMOR on there from several people is she was with him last, he asked for sex and she turned him down and he was very angry about it. They also said he was arrested after on another charge.
I've tried to locate info on him too, nothing.

the reason you don't know anything is because WE THE FAMILY dont know anything either.... or there is a good reason the information is not out there for you to know & post on the word wide enternet for the world to see.

I don't like it when people use someone's name as an excise to get away with sin...
like using this site & my aunt's name as an excuse to be nosy & gossip.

I am very sorry if you think we are nosey.

We are here because we care deeply for the missing and their families. I pray for your aunt and your family daily.

Chelle, I'm so sorry if anything here has caused your family more pain than what you're already experiencing. Please take the words above to heart in that we are not a group like others on the internet -- we actually work to bring people home to their families, and have been successful in doing so in the past.

There are many caring souls here who have much experience in helping families of the missing. I am located in southern Mississippi, and would be more than willing to help your family in contacting media to get Patty's story out there. I am also a graphic designer, and if you need help designing a poster or anything of that nature, please let me know.

Prayers to you, and all Patty's family and friends.

NATCHITOCHES – A Natchitoches Parish man was charged today with murder in the December disappearance of a Natchitoches woman, authorities said in a news release.

The body of the missing woman, Clara Patricia “Patty” Bynog, has not been recovered. However, sheriff’s investigators believe they have enough evidence to charge Morgan Prothro, 37, of the 200 block of Paul Jordan Road, with second-degree murder, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff Victor Jones Jr. said in the release

Thank you so much for updating this summer breeze. I had given up on it after someone in the family expressed concern that we were being nosey.

I hate to hear that they think she was murdered.

I do find it interesting that the guy that so much was being said about on topix is the one who has been charged.

Again, thanks for updating this and I will be praying for the family. I'm so sorry.

Here is a picture of the man that has been charged. He was the last one that saw Patty alive.

Seems daughter Priscilla talked to KTBS 3 News: http://www.ktbs.com/news/i-hope-he-rots-in-hell/

Snipped:
The arrest came as bitter sweet news for the Bynog family. Priscilla Bynog's mother Patty disappeared on December 13th.

She says her mom had just met Prothro and rode to the store with him. She was never seen again.

I am so glad to hear that there has been an arrest in this case.

And he is the one that was named early on.

My condolences to the family and friends of Clara 'Patty' Bynog.
