I have finally completed my “road trip” from the Silver Slipper Casino area to where South Beach Blvd and Bay Oaks Drive meet. After checking out several locations like the Clermont Harbor and the areas of Buccaneer State Park, etc.

I have came to the conclusion that the Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier in Waveland, maybe the spot of where JL remains were dropped.

Oceanographers studying tide flow and wind currents determined Lockhart’s body could not have traveled into Mississippi waters from outside the state in the amount of time between her disappearance and the discovery of her remains, Saucier said.

Here are some very interesting facts -

• The report from the Oceanographers.
• The pier location, it’s approximately 1.5 miles from where the torso was found.
• I can actually see the Garfield Ladner Memorial Pier from that spot at Bay Oaks Dr. and South Beach Boulevard location with my binoculars.
• I can see the direction of the water when I was on the Garfield Pier (winds were from the Southwest – same as the day in question.)
• The pier has numerous outdoor water faucets with garden hoses, even at the very end of the pier. This is handy if you need to "clean up" any blood.
• The end of the pier has deeper water which is known for shark fishing.
• There are no security cameras.
• I only saw about 6 fisherman on the pier on Sunday at 2pm. Must be less people fishing around 3am during inclement weather?
• Admission is free and the pier does not have a Pier Ranger on Duty at all times. Their website has outdated information.
• According to their Facebook Page – Hours are: Wed - Thu: 6:00 pm - 2:00 am
• However, the stairs to the pier are not locked, so anybody can get access.

Finally the pier is about 1,000 to 1,200 feet long according to my estimates.

Thank you so much, Clodumbo. This is good information. No cameras, no gate, at least 1000 ft long. Sounds like an ideal place to to put a body in water and have it wash away without using a boat. I'll go out on a limb and say the body likely was placed in the water the following night. They didn't leave the club until almost 2. When you factor in driving time, you're left with only a few hours for events to transpire before sunrise, and by then you'd run the risk of meeting up with fishermen. But if they waited until the next night, say 2-3 AM on Thursday, that was plenty of time for the torso to wash ashore where it did. Remember, the Chief said she hadn't been in the water very long.

I'm hoping that on or before August 17th (the date MAS has to be charged or released by) that there will be a lot more revealed about this case.

Right now there seems to be a lull in the case, the initial shock has worn off, Jaren has been found, the last people seen with her are identified and apprehended, although not yet charged and there is little information or details being released.

I'm was thinking at first that MAS's silence was just her protecting her man. But now I am seeing it as indicating that she is much more responsible for what happened and played a very active role in in. Also I'm sure her lawyer is advising her to be quiet while he tries to formulate a plausible story for her involvement.

If she were just an unwitting participant and a victim, this would have come out by now. She seemed fascinated by Addie's death and loved gory torture movies. TS seemed to also have an interest in gory things as evidenced by the Leslie Alan Rice paintings and using that name as an alias.

Clodumbo's research is great. That place looks like a great possibility.

What I am hoping is happening is that the different LE agencies are doing their work and that they will convene and share the info and charges will be file just when MAS thinks she is about to be sprung free.

I am curious as to which LE will have the lead in this. I think Mississippi does since Jaren was found there but since 2 states are involved that brings in the FBI as well. I'm not up on how all of that works but I am glad that it is just not a Louisiana case because the New Orleans PD is too overwhelmed and has a history of failure, Tangipahoa (where MAS is being held) is complaining that it is costing them and they don't want her.

But however long it takes, I'm in it for the long haul. Glad to see I have so many people along with me.

I've been thinking the same thing. I've come across some info for an RV park used by the Silver Slipper Casino. It seems many of the recent escort and prostitution busts took place at hotels near the MS coast. I'm wondering if the "party" they were headed to was at a hotel or casino on the coast. If so, the Silver Slipper would have been the closest to NOLA. Their RV park is not manned according to the RV website I checked. This or another RV park between Waveland and Bay St. Louis might also have provided water and seclusion for those involved in Jaren's death and/or dismemberment.

I still wonder about the number of occasions Jaren may have been escorted to a party like the one she was invited to. I don't think this was the first because of the money involved, and I wonder how many TS and MAS may heve been involved with.

I also wonder if some of the photos of Jaren on the coast offer any clues to where she may have gone with TS and MAS. There are some pics of her in her memorial video that look like they were taken at an RV park near the coast and then there are the pics of her with the Long Beach pier in the background. It seems as though Jaren would have been very comfortable accepting an invite to a location near those in the pictures-JMO.

Tried to find some sleaze in mississippi without downloading a virus and came up with this lovely couple who run a swingers club in gulfport, a bit out of range of where we're talking about. It seems there are a lot of sex clubs in that state but I'm guessing I could google any state under swingers, escorts, etc and come up with the same. I notice women get in free to these clubs and men have to pay. I wonder whether they would have to actually pay women to go or else they would just have a bunch of men sitting around looking at each other.

Saw 2luckydogs link on TS (above) and the circumstances around his sex offender charge. The 14 year old's mother let her daughter live with TS for over a month and only notified authorities that she was missing when the girl was truant from school. So it was OK!! for her to take up a new boyfriend 16 years older than her but not ok when she wasn't going to school. When TS got arrested for driving a stolen motorcycle, they found the girl on the back of it and sent her home. Typical North Carolina trailer trash nonsense. Sorry, does my disdain for my home state show?

I finally got around to reading this May 28, 2003 Newspaper Article about TS. What kind of mother would allow her 14 year old daughter to live with a man who is 30 years old for over a month? Then she notifies the authorities when it was convenient for her. She should have been locked up too! She is just as creepy as TS.

I think the crime took place early wednesday morning and they took all day to "prepare" the body for disposal, disposed of it wednesday night in mississippi. I think they were probably in mississippi when the crime took place or else there would be forensic evidence in the car. But now I'm wondering if this was maybe a sexual tryst fueled by cocaine, and something as mundane as Jaren doing the last line of coke, or more than her share, MAS or TS getting angry and stabbing her. (JMO - pure speculation and not to slander her but she may have had a drug problem) Or Jaren getting paid to dance in mississippi, TS and MAS thinking they should get a cut of her pay, her refusing, and one or both flying into a cocaine withdrawal rage over it. (I reached a deadend about what where and when the party might have been, and why no one at the party confessed to seeing jaren there or hiring her) I think the night had to have been drug-fueled and the murder done by someone drug-addled, which would explain why they didn't care about cameras or being seen. Probably 2nd degree and under the influence of stimulants.

All I have been able to find lately are updates on MS still in custody blah blah blah. Really stinks that Jaren hasn't had the media attention that she deserves...

I think you are correct, I think JL was murdered early Wednesday morning and then they took all day to "prepare" the body for disposal while they were under the influence of illegal drugs & alcohol, then they disposed JL’s body parts - early Thursday morning (around 2-3am in Mississippi.)

I don’t think other people were involved, because there would have been too many witnesses. That is just my personal opinion, but I could be wrong.

"What am I going to do to get rid of the body? That would be anybody's first thought; How do I fix this?"

I agree that there was no party and i don't really think there were others involved besides MAS and TS. They approached the first girl with the proposition of her being paid to be a "treat for TS". She turned them down so MAS/TS probably changed their lure somewhat. Like was said above, whatever it took. They were determined.

Consider the fact that MAS was somewhat obsessed with the case of Addie and Zach. She had probably put a LOT of thought into how SHE would have done a better job of disposing of the body and not getting caught than Zach did (although Zack confessed, rather than being caught).

So MAS thought she was smarter than that. She simply didn't think they would be caught because they would be "smarter". She figured Jaren would just be another missing person that the NOPD wouldn't look for.
