I just got back a few minutes ago. The water line is about 5 feet high, just barely half an inch below the door of my elevated apartment. I lucked out I even still have electricity to my surprise. I'm still glad I evacuated. My car would've been destroyed otherwise.

That's great news! You're not kidding you lucked out in that the water line is only a half inch below your door - don't sneeze!

Just a thought to make sure the stuff in your frig wasn't spoiled (like if the electricity went out for a time but has since come back on). :sleuth::thumb:

Actually, we were referring to MAS. But, yes I'm glad that ZB is gone too. It's so weird how MAS knew both of the victims.

o/t ~ My heart is saddened by what Robin Roberts, host on GMA, is going through. I've been a fan of hers for years and have been praying for her procedures to restore her health. This morning they announced her mother passed away. This is right before Robin and her sister are doing the bone marrow transplant. I know they are strong people but how much can one take?

What I want to know though, as Robin refers to her beloved home in Christian Pass, MS often, was this area hit hard by Isaac? Could it finally have been too much for Robin's mom to endure?

Suffering comes in many shapes and forms. That said, when there's life there's hope and I'm certain Robin will get through her present trials.

pass christian did ok. there are low lying areas on the bayous,though. much of the pass was wiped out in katrina . new homes are often raised up. look ok when i drove thru,but i am sure some flooded.

Very thoughtful and kind of you to remove Jaren's memorial. That is really touching. I know that area got it pretty bad.

We're okay over here in Biloxi. A tree down at our place (we moved our cars JUST in time!) and casino row flooded, but most is receding and our curfew is up. Grateful!

Maybe Jaren's brother-in-law that posts here will suggest a spot for the memorial..thanks again for moving it.

Didn't he have a court date coming up in Winston Salem, NC pretty soon?
From what I can tell, he's not been sentenced yet for the charges he faces there. What's taking so long?

We need to know he's in prison and not out on bond. Could that happen since no charges have been made out of MS or LA?
I don't think it could because he ran from the police on two different occasions but,

Why is it so difficult to find out his current status? Maybe I don't know where or how to look it up.

Could something like this have caused the urgency that people say MAS evoked when trying to find a female companion?
If so, others may know what happened to Jaren.

I know nothing about Wicca but in trying to figure it out, I gather their practices involve witchcraft.
That's a scary concept because I don't know how far some of the rituals go as far as what's necessary to achieve the result they seek.

I don't know about "other" holidays like Wicca...
~not to start a discussion but typically they don't worship the devil or anything
(so I have been told)

Not to get too off-topic, but Wiccans don't do human sacrifice or devil worshipping or anything like that (there isn't even a devil in Wiccan beliefs). Wicca is a neo-pagan, pre-Christian, earth-based religion. It's more about tree hugging than killing. Killing is against the Wicca code/rules/commandments, as it is in basically every religion.

Wicca is about harmony and balance with nature & wiccans would not ritually sacrifice/kill/dismember someone. That certainly would throw things out of balance.

I doubt Wicca has anything to do with Jaren's death & I have doubts about certain people being true followers of this religion if they are connected to Jaren's death. Maybe Satanic ritual, but not Wicca (and the two aren't connected).

My guess is it's taking so long because MS LE asked them to drag it out as long as possible because they don't have the test results back yet, enough evidence, as is seen by MAS being released. They want everything to slow down to buy them more time to build a case, if one is to be built.

My guess also is that MAS isn't true to anything but herself, including being a Wicca. I think she only says stuff to be the center of attention and that's just one more cry of "Hey!!! Look at me!!!" JMO.
