Another petite blond missing - so disheartening.
Was the report of a bike being found by a Walgreens disproven or could LE be keeping that info to themselves for now? There are two Walgreens that look to be along the route MS could have taken - an open 24 hours location that looks to be about half way 'home' at 2700 Johnston Street (& N. College Rd.) and a second Walgreens at 2822 Ambassador Caffery Pkwy (& W. Congress) that would be almost home.

(you may have to type in Lafayette, LA into the location locator box)
The possibility of a carnival worker being responsible for an abduction caught my attention. That along with the fact that the Interstate (I-10) is easy access from the area.
Last year, Holly Bobo went missing from Darden/Parsons, TN on April 12, 2011. On the weekend of the 7-9th
the county had the world's largest coon hunt benefit at the county fairgrounds. I'm not sure what that event involves but it must draw alot of visitors from out of town. There is also a Spring Carnival sponsored by the Decatur County Association that links bellecityamusements.com but I'm unable to access the date the spring carnival was held last year. :waitasec: Darden is easy access to Interstate I-40.
Who puts on the carnival in Lafayette? (I haven't tried to sleuth that yet but hope locals might know or can easily find out).
One can access I-65 north from Lafayette up to I-40 to Nashville easily too. The Interstate system linking the southern states looks efficient.
A carnival worker, more than a trucker, would be hanging around a town long enough to possibly pick out his next victim which, in these two cases, are cute petite blonds in their early 20's.
