I will be searching tomorrow too... Hardly is there ever cars in this garage. Usually just a MobileHealth RV.

That's really strange, then--there were at least 10 cars parked in there that I could see, in addition to the RV.

Heres an interesting tidbit that comes in handy. In louisiana it is not trespassing if you are looking for a lost pet. Just FYI, carry a leash around and you can get into just about wherever you want ;)

Nice! I don't own a pet but would you believe I have an extra large dog collar? It works great for buckling my toddler in shopping carts when the darn stores have cut off the buckles. WHY do they do that?!

I can't imagine that would be advisable! A person who entered my private property without gaining my permission first would be enthusiastically greeted by my 70 pound pit bull. And he can run very, very fast!

I also know men who were asked to "voluntarily" submit their DNA back then. There were a few cases where the men declined, and LE didn't react very positively to that. Some men who refused had their names linked to the public, had their employers contacted with insinuations that the guys had something to hide.....and these men were ALL innocent. I am not a fan of DNA dragnets, and personally think it violates ou civil rights.

I sincerely hope it does not become a tactic that LE uses again.

I'm not a fan either. Unless they are legally bound to dispose of the sample, no thanks.

Discussing time outs can earn you a time out. Just sayin'.

Now get back to talking about the case and NOT each other!

I agree. I wouldn't voluntarily give my DNA for any reason.

In Texas, that can get you killed. Castle doctrine and all. :) Shows how different we neighboring states are.

That's scary.

WSers,

Is this white truck same or different as the VOI?

WSers,

Is this white truck same or different as the VOI?

The VOI has a chrome step thingy that I don't see on this one.

And black handles/mirrors.

Edit to add: And four doors, and I don't think it has the black trim work near the back wheel area.

can someone please tell me their opinion on what "significant damage" to the rear tire would be?! Just a horribly bent rim, tire off the rim, slashed tire???? I know they are damaged fairly easy, but I have a schwinn and throw it in my trunk all the time (98 gran prix) and my rims are not bent...so i think they could take a hitting.

Also, I was wondering about the cemetery. Do they use riding lawnmowers or golf carts to maintain the land (our cemeteries are huge around here and have lots of different travelling equipment they use to maintain the places).... and are their cameras that would catch someone on these types of vehicles?!

I honestly thought I could catch up on all threads...but it's nearly impossible :-/

Another question, have they cleared friends and family or is everyone a suspect?!!? I know everyone is going down the white truck path...but we don't know how far she made it after 1:48 and MANY, MANY people knew her route...people don't always party or hang out w/ friends. Friends/fam/acquaintances of others are often randomly around!

I think it was someone she knows (or who knew her), not a random act of violence. All IMO of course :) keep up the good work and passion all!

I think all WSers who are volunteering tomorrow should wear a red bandana tied around their arm for identification purposes.

Regarding the truck...when I tweak the image a bit, I can see "something" over the back wheel area that looks like a sticker....do you think it's the z71 sticker or maybe something more identifying? I don't know anything about trucks at all...

Sleuthers, can we utilize our talents to nail down the year of the z71? Perhaps there are clues here for us in the photo. It cannot be a 2011 or newer because the body isn't square enough IMO. Also, take a look at the height of the tailights, there seems to be a nuance in the newer Chevy Silverados. It might take a little math and concentration, but it seems like it would be a productive for this thread.

I like this idea.
