I believe the other poster said they were putting up police tape near this intersection. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok. Finally. I don't know why I have been messing with KATC and the weird ambiguous way they phrase things.

If you follow this link, you will learn that the truck shown turning left onto University.....traveling away from the direction Mickey was headed.....is indeed the SAME truck shown traveling on University near the graveyard.

So there cannot be a person in the back of the truck shown in the left hand turning lane. Because regardless of how it looks in that picture, the truck definitely has a bed cover and a closed tailgate.

I believe the tape was going up behind the Cajundome, so I don't think it's the same location.

Third white truck with cover was clocked at 1:51:27 AM, the latest time.
Keeping in mind we don't have times on Truck 1 and 2 that look to be the same truck.

Same location as the truck with the bed cover except going the opposite direction.

Not the pic of the car on university, where the truck is also shown, but the second pic of the car. Someone identified it as 224 st Landry. The ONLY pic from that camera. They should also have vid of Mickey AND the white truck/trucks from this camera, but none have been released, just this car.

no i had posted that.. today behind the cajundome... coliseum rd. they had a k-9 unit truck and he was wrapping the area in yellow caution tape twice and put down in orange cone in the grass like some kind of marking.. there was a cop talking to some locals and when we went down a little bit a couple more cops on golf carts with there blue lights on i called the pd but they couldnt give any information

I heard news from a reliable source that is terrifying. A body was supposedly found behind the northside post office. I hope it's merely a rumor.

Something like that was posted earlier and don't know if it is true or not.

Would like to say I finally got a chance to help search today. We can't say where we searched but they are leaving no stone unturned. My search spots today were very wooded but I saw parties out in different types of environments. I also met a LOT of great people. I am pooped though! I got a call with the rumor about Post Office while we were headed to our last location. I think it is just a rumor, they moved headquarters to a bigger arena and they were still sending out search parties after this rumor began.

The trucks - the 2 that are in the same pic as the Circle K are def the same truck, in one it is travelling the same direction as Mickey (and had the same cars at the Circle K as when Mickey passed) and in the other, there is a new car as well as the other car there when Mickey passed and the truck is going in the opposite direction. I need to go back and see whether I can see how it might have a bed liner.

I think we have some confusion here because the two pictures of the car are shown in the wrong order.

I think the first time a camera picks up the car, it's headed South on University, past the cemetery. You can see the mismatched white back panel.

I think then the car hangs a right onto St. Landry (where the fuzzier picture, with palm fronds in front, was taken -- there's a small law firm in a house right there, just a few buildings up from the LUS building on the same side of the road, and I think that's where the security camera would've been), where Mickey may or may not have already passed through.

It's important to not get obsessed with the time stamps; they're likely quite accurate, but probably not absolute. Heck, my microwave and my stove aren't in the same "time zone," get my drift?

Also, the picture of the car from the law office is wayyyy fuzzy. There are a couple of possibilities: it either is one of those cameras that basically just snaps stills at a frame every second or two, which could have resulted in missing Mickey completely, or just catching an undentifiable blur of her that wouldn't have done us any good anyway.

It's very unlikely that she was taken between the two cameras; they're just not that far apart and there were people outside at the gas station who likely would have noticed a scuffle.

The cover... are they automatic? Could someone have stopped, closed the tailgate & pulled the cover within a couple of minutes?

No I don't think so, let's not read too much into this. If it is factional the news will be released. Word of mouth told me they found her purse in a drainage ditch (coulee).

The immediate presence of the FBI intrigues me however. This means that details will be released willingly and strategically. There must be a possibility of a suspect that is nation wide. Maybe Mickey's profile drew the FBI in, or the state fair. Nonetheless, this is a very interesting case and we can't rule out much.

Not if she thought the person in the truck was helping her...

The driver of the truck driving to the interstate might have had somebody on foot working together to get her. The person on foot knocked her off her bike and stole it from her...rode off. Perfect opportunity for the dude in the truck to come to her "rescue" saying lets go catch that guy and get ur bike back...
He tells her to get n the truck so they can catch him, she half way believes him but wants to keep a distance so she hops on the back of the bed, I mean y ride n the car with someone u don't kno win u can just ride on the outside away from th so u can get away of u need to or have a better chance.

I hope they have checked all the RSOs in the area who have white 4 door trucks. This guy (a link was posted to him last night), has a white 4 door 1999 Toyota Tacoma. I know we all agreed the truck in the pics was probably a Ford or GMC, but I google "white 4 door Toyota Tacoma" on Google images and they look a LOT like the truck in the 2 pics to me (the original truck, not necessarily pic of other truck we got this evening).

I don't know if it's okay to post this (new poster, long-time lurker), but I noticed on the Find Mickey Facebook page that someone with the same last name (sounds Arab maybe?) posted several comments about God (in all caps) bringing her home, etc. He had a different first name. Maybe since this guy has a foreign/Middle Eastern souding-first name as well, he has an "American" nickname he goes by? For example, our governor in LA's real first name is Piyush, but he goes by Bobby. The ladies who do my pedicures at the nail salon are from Vietnam and go by American names they've picked for themselves (I guess for helping clientele remember their names if they want a certain manicurist or whatever). I don't mean to sleuth some innocent guy who is really hoping and praying for Mickey's return, but itsn't it possible the perp would insert himself in the search and maybe the Facebook discussion? Don't some perps do stuff like get involved after the crime? Help me out, more experienced sleuthers- what do you think- is there maybe something to this?
