Laura Babcock Murder Trial - *GUILTY*

DNA Solves
DNA Solves
DNA Solves
They willfully, gleefully killed when it suited.
And now, appropriately, both are prosecuted.
They texted "We take what we want from the source"
Deliberate, unwilling, to change their course.

They conspired together, then murdered together,
It's not up to Judge Code, to determine whether
One was more or less guilty, than was the other
For when they murdered, were close as a brother

Appropriately, they were tried together, as one,
sentenced the same, now both are equally done.
Mark played a ruse, but was found a counterfeit.
The pod got 50 today... both rotten peas in it.

A very good point, that has not yet been made...
Worthy of thought, so it is now conveyed.
Thankfully, neither of them, have procreated,
A better place now, their DNA not replicated!

Perhaps this is why, their eyes welled tears...
As they each think ahead to the next 50 years
Certain they are not thinking of Laura or Tim
Only themselves, and the state they are in.

Together they rot, locked away behind bars,
Time forever apart, and seperate from ours.
During both trials, they showed no remorse...
Got what they took, straight from the source!
Awesome poem!

And now for something completely different. Perhaps somebody already noticed, but google now produces an excerpt from Wikipedia about Bosma's murder when searching for Dellen Millard.

How sweet is that... truth wins again!

just amazes me, though...how many of us wouldn't have loved to have had Dellen's $$$...no worries of 'will i have enough to retire on?' etc or pay the bills when i'm older etc...normal everyday worries that plague many...and he squandered it all in such horrible ways.

I agree with Mr Babcock. That b should have been nailed to the wall too. CN is one name I hope to never hear again... Moo

:yesss: Glad to see that the Bosma and Babcock families will be spared from attending proceedings regarding any possible parole considerations for these two for at least the next 45 years. Providing that both convictions and sentences hold up on appeal of course.

One more victim to get his turn at justice coming up in April. Love to see DM get a 3rd consecutive sentence if he's found guilty again. Maybe he'll really be angry at that.

Thanks to all for the commentary and posting up all the tweets today. :tyou:

Not a shred of remorse was ever shown. the tears they had were because they know their lives are over.

I've never been so content in being wrong.
During the Bosma trial, I didn't see enough for MS to be found guilty, I thought.
During the Babcock trial, I didn't think MS would get consecutive.
Justice... served. Great job by the crowns, juries and judges.
I look forward to the WM trial, and another consecutive 25 years for DM if found guilty.
Thoughts with the victims families to remain strong without the distractions of trials to keep their minds preoccupied.

Thank goodness, juries usually get it right.

If DM is convicted for killing his Dad, he will be designated a serial killer.

Hallelujah!! Thank you Judge Code for making the proper decision of consecutive sentences for both these disgusting, evil, monsters. IMO he was too kind in wishing them well behind bars. Mr. Babcock was too kind also referring to DM and MS as horrible specimens of humanity but I guess he had to keep it clean in the eyes of the media. Thank you for your class Mr. Babcock. I hope you and your family can finally heal with all the wonderful memories of Laura.

You may now rest in peace Laura, justice was served sweet angel.

But beyond that, I don't feel any personal joy or happiness at any of this. It's not a popular opinion, but I do feel sympathy for a person like Millard - the organically f*cked Millard, whose psychopathic brain and its processes were always going to lead him right to this future, one way or another and one day or another. And Smich, who followed Millard right over a cliff, who might have had a different life if he had another better man to follow, I feel regret for him too. I've said before that I think not being either of these two guys is a privilege that is a lot less about will than people think, and I will feel grateful when I leave where I am in a few minutes and walk out into the late afternoon sun on a not-too-cold winter day in a mostly beautiful world that as long as I am here I will get to be part of.

Agreed. Have you read "The Psychopath Inside" by James Fallon (a neuroscientist who discovered he is a psychopath)? You'd enjoy it, I think.

I wish the photo of the tarp never made it into the public domain. I understand why, but it can never be destroyed. MOO

That photo, and the sparks flying one, were the most hideous things in all the evidence. I wish they could be erased permanently. If the blue tarp survived, the police likely couldn't distinguish it from all the other blue tarps. I"m sure they tried, and searched for DNA or other trace evidence.

Feeling the same

Someone mentioned this yesterday and it piqued my interest. If DM is found guilty in his dad's trial, he will lose his inheritance? In turn, does this mean that the civil suit the Bosmas launched will be for not? I admit, I am not always clear on why civil suits are launched....
