All I can say is...............
:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

But seriously, how and where is he getting the time to teach? He has to prepare for the case of the century!!!! Wonder if he is going to "farm out" some of the menial tasks to his up and coming law students - HEY THAT'S IT - that's how he's paying for most of this! NOT!!!

This can't be for real! I worked with his last client and we all thought he'd get off and he was still found guilty! If he can't get someone off that alot of people thought was innocent, how in the hell is he going to have anything to offer upcoming law students? And who'd want him to teach them?

Nice to know that the legal profession is so noble as to cash in on this horrendous case. I can't comment further.

"Casey Anthony's attorney has faced plenty of criticism in the case for forgetting the judge's jurisdiction and for improperly filing court motions. Eyewitness News has now learned Jose Baez has been hired by FAMU law school to teach up-and-coming lawyers."

OK, that's it, I think we've all been sucked into the Twilight Zone!

:eek:

FAMU's law school is only provisionally accredited. With the ABA breathing down their necks to determine whether it will become fully accredited, one wonders why they'd invite controversy.

ETA: When I first read that he was to teach, my thoughts ran to the old adage, "Those who can do; those who can't teach."

:clap::clap::clap:

old saying, still true:
Those who can't - teach.
I'm still wondering about Jose's comment in his recent press conference where he claims he is the first minority attorney to handle a case of this size. Are we to believe no other Black, Hispanic, Asian, or other non-white attorney in the state of Florida has ever represented anyone on a similar charge? I'm not into researching but I'm willing to guess Jose isn't the role model or legendary legal figure he imagines himself to be.
I'm sure he is a fine lawyer. I've not followed his career record but statements like this and using the race card certainly deminishes his ability in the public eye. His reaction is an unnecessary fuss.

They might have wanted to wait to see the outcome of the trial. JMO

As a student - would you remain in the class? It is kind of like nursing school being taught by nurses with violations on the license? This does not even make sense.
If I saw he was my teacher I would def drop the class.

One more thing about B...

If he is teaching law school now he must be ready to go to trial with Casey. If he isn't, what does he tell Judge Strickland, that he needs a delay because he's in school?
Geez. Casey's appeal will be granted because of his incompetence. :furious:

It's not April Fools Day yet so this must be for Ashton Kutcher's show "PUNKED" :waitasec:

Sometimes I wonder this about this whole case. Why in the world would anyone hire JB to teach others. If I were a student there I would be seriously trying to get in some where decent.

Just when I thought nothing could shock me anymore!
OMG!! The world has gone mad!

Where is this FAMU? There's one in Tallahassee, he can't be teaching there. Is there a satellite campus in Orlando? Or is this another university?
