Sorry, the rumor didn't pan out today... I don't spread rumors, so I'm still waiting for the public announcement.

Just bumping this up for reference that I never gave any info on the "rumor". I didn't have all the info myself other than it had something to do with court. I *assumed* it was a lawsuit (based on previous statements by MG and JR), but wasn't sure if it was against SCPD or CPH or both. Since I didn't have all the FACTS, I couldn't publicly state with any certainty that my *assumptions* (aka rumor) was TRUTH or purely rumor.

How crazy would I have looked if this never panned out or if I had said exactly what the rumor was and I was wrong? Especially since I wasn't sure WHAT it was. This "rumor" that was referenced happened a month ago. I couldn't, in good conscience, speak of any "rumor" that I was not entitled to speak of until it was publicly known.

I just wanted to reiterate that I was asked several times what the "rumor" I was hinting at was, and NEVER gave that info.

The only info I gave concerning a "rumor" was that it was NOT an arrest, unfortunately. I didn't want false information to be spread, so I cleared that up. I would have been embarrassed if that rumor (an arrest) was spread with my name attached. I pride myself on my honesty and integrity, and want nothing to do with lies being spread in my name. To me, that is the biggest insult I could receive.

Thanks! This whole case has lie after lie after lie. That is what is so infuriating to me, and why I took it upon myself to seek the truth even with people saying, "That can't be done." "The truth will set you free," is a motto I've lived by my entire life. Nothing is ever accomplished by lies.

I agree with you 100% and FWIW, CPH could very well triumph whether guilty or not guilty due to the fact that JR and MG are building their case against him using statements from OB residents who may or may not be telling the truth. All it will take is one of those OB resident statements to surface as a lie to destroy all chances of winning over a jury. They are searching for the truth by hunting for information in a land of lies.

IJS... CPH is probably not in a panic because he knows that the case against him is built upon testimony from that land of lies. It is one thing to make shocking statements to JR's people over a few beers or Summer martinis out on the sundeck. It's entirely more serious when asked to make those same claims after swearing with one hand over the bible to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothin' but the truth so help you god...

2. CPH is a doctor
3. CPH himself called MG and stated he "treated" SG in SOME capacity (whether he did or not, it's still against HIPPA laws)
4. SG was found dead

Just with those 4 facts (assuming MG's phone records reflect a call from CPH), he could, at the very least, be held liable for violating HIPPA laws and medical neglect.

I am sorry, but I do not understand your use of letters Like IJS, ICBW and so on. I know they are abbreviations for text messages, and supposedly save somebody time. However I for one have to look every damn one up.

English is a complex enough language and I do not think it is necessary to add more complexity in an attempt to simplify it. That is just my opinion.

Your comments regarding the validity of testimony of Oak Beach residents, forgets that John Ray is a very astute litigator. He has not gone forward with this process unless he has confidence of success. There is no upside for him if he losses. He only gets paid if there is a settlement made.

The upside is that any publicity is good publicity. It appears to me that they're using the internet postings of an Oak Beach resident as the "investigation" and hope to find something out when they depose the people listed in said postings.

Could the civil lawsuit be a means of obtaining a free independent medical examination of SG'S remains?

contemplate this:

In order to defend himself & prove that SG was not drugged by him, CPH may need to pay for an independent exam of SG's remains. He can also pay to have that exam search for another cause of death.

What do you think of this tactic?

That's what MG's attorney pretty much outright stated as being an intention, yes.

In order to defend himself & prove that SG was not drugged by him...

I don't think CPH has any requirement to do that; instead, it's MG and her attorney who must prove the allegations they make.

I sympathize with what you're saying, but it's also true that it's easy enough to figure out what they mean. IJS = I'm just saying. ICBW = It could be worse. IBIWISI = I'll believe it when I see it.

The interesting thing, though, is that FWIW does not mean "for what it's worth" - it means "foreigners will instigate war". AFAIK. FYI.

I will definitely concur with the above poster who mentioned an oak beach resident. If you read the list of allegations and then listen to JR's little press shindig....Its like I have heard alot of the slogans, or phrases somewhere before.
I really hope a lawyer is not bringing a case to the Suffolk Courts based on that particular poster. Although I admire his passion and committment to this case, a decent lawyer or someone who has read alot of the stuff out there on forums for this case will be able to punch a hol ein that particular posters credibility. I do not think May 1 was the first encounter CPH and that particular poster had.
I also hope JR has more up his sleeve (those questionably fashionable sleeves he has) than just that particular poster. I would love to see some of the people who CPH allegedly said these things to up on the stand. Hopefully alot of dirt comes out and we atleast get something good to read.
