Wow. What gets me is that in these letters she acts like what is happening to Casey is just some misunderstanding perpetrated by evil people, and LE just took it and won't let go of it and do their jobs. And holy cow did she put down Mark N in one of those letters. Called him all sorts of names. Apparently she likes the word slime and it's various forms. Lord, get a thesaurus why don't you, Cindy?

And yeah, I bet you wanted access to a Chaplain with the last name Gonzalez. I'm surprised you haven't skimmed the phone book and start investigations into every Gonzalez in Orlando. What a delusional woman. Whether she wrote this knowing people would read it or not, just wow. Everything's hunky dory, but oh poor Casey, and everyone is evil for putting you there, especiall Mark N, and Kronk, and everyone else not me, you mom and I should be your only bff. Even Jesus is on your side, Casey. Oh, and we're twins, except you're in jail and I'm not. How sad. *oh for the love of Pete just gag me*

What a crock of bull. Cindy needs a padded cell stat. I'm wondering how Casey doesn't go insane or hurt someone after reading chit like this. And the underlying theme here? I'm the only one who loves you and cares for you, please don't sell me up the river to save yourself.

Can anyone direct me to where Cindy says she keeps the death certificate on her dresser. Can't find it myself. Much appreciated. Solace

Prudence,

Don't you find that bizarre that she would keep that there if she says Caylee is still alive.

This whole family has really let themselves go unchecked. Cindy has decided this is the way it is going to be and George lets go - even still tells Casey she is her best friend - no mention of George - yet he stays. Cindy does not mention him in her letters but does mention Lee.

It is Casey and Lee and Mallory and I do not see George and Cindy making it - she is rapidly going downhill - I really believe that. She needs psychiatric help 24 hours a day. She is living a lie every minute of the day. I know she is use to it, but this is a horse of a different color. Her child KILLED her grandchild and she is going to lie about it. Incredible. And the next thing that will happen to her maybe not this year but it will - she will get physcially sick - and I don't mean nausea - It is impossible for the subconscious to keep this lie up without it effecting your body physcially.

This is like a Tennessee Williams play without Marlon.

The Glass Menagerie-play of family dysfunction and a devouring Mother. Fits IMHO.

This is true. Suddenly Last Summer works as far as the mother goes.

My Dearest Casey,
I know its been a few wks since I’ve written. I am truly sorry. I guess its part of my avoidance tendencies that I have.

It’s very difficult to write without getting a letter back….”

It really is NOT difficult to write if you believe your child is in prison unjustly. You would be writing every day to make her life easier. No doubt in my mind.

Notice how she is basically scolding Casey for not writing back with "it's very difficult to write without getting a letter back". Now if she really felt, I mean in her heart, believed that Casey can't write because her lawyer is telling her not to and SHE IS INNOCENT OF THESE CHARGES and is just being careful because she is dissected by the press and her letters would be released, but Cindy says basically sorry I haven't written but you know those avoidance issues I have and its not easy writing when I don't get a reply.

Okay Cindy, your "innocent" child is locked up in a cell 23 hours a day and has no one to talk to and she can't write you per lawyers orders, but you find it difficult to write her when you are outside and free and not working and have the time.

Something tells me Cindy does not bellieve her child is innocent.

On the other hand, Cindy fell completely apart when she reallized that Caylee was gone and told Melich I still don't care where Casey is all I care about is Caylee.

Cindy is putting on a show here for herself and Casey and everybody else, because if she admits this, then she has to admit that she let this happen by looking the other way. Oh God, that is horrible.

I feel like I'm in "Gaslight." These people are intentionally trying to make me think I'm insane.

Well I know that cindy does not care if George goes insane. She had no problem in Court where George looked the angriest I have ever seen him and Cindy had no problem having conversations with her lawyer and friend and found time to laugh, as George sat there totally humiliated.

I would love to have a mental health professional evaluate this letter! You can't make this stuff up!

  • Cindy is jealous that KC has a "bff"
  • Cindy still a control freak, wanting access to the chaplain
  • "I could never stay upset with you"
  • OCSD conspiracy theories with the jail letters

I am a mental health professional and I NEED help figuring out this woman! The more I read, the more I am I ready to sign for a padded cell for Cindy (if only I were in Florida)!

Actually, she just amazes me and I am pretty sure she will have her own mental health definition in the next DSM!

Yes, I find Cindy's actions and statements beyond bizarre. She completely baffles me at times and I just sit here thinking "huh?" I mean I just can't put into words what I think about her, I find her so out there.

This letter http://www.wftv.com/pdf/24527941/detail.html shows to me that all CA thinks about is herself. She writes to KC "Jose told me that you were sorry for some of the things you wrote about me. I told you that I am not upset with you at all."

WHAT? She's not upset with KC for accusing George and Lee of molestation? She only cares what KC wrote about her. Huh?

I thought about this letter while lying in bed last night trying to sleep. It struck me that there was brief mention of Lee and Mallory, but absolutely no mention of anyone else. No mention of George or her parents. One would expect at least just one line, something like......"Dad is fine and still enjoys puttering with the cars and yard, and I visited grandma and grandpa this week and both are doing well." But nothing! It's like only Cindy and Casey exist in her world. And even in her thoughts of an afterlife, only Cindy, Casey, and Caylee exist.

This letter is a brief glimpse into the thoughts of a very mentally unhealthy person.

I doubt Cindy will ever be able to accept the truth when it comes to Casey. She talks of Casey coming home, and that's never going to happen. Casey will die in prison.

A healthy person accepts the truth, grieves for their loss, and picks up the pieces and goes on with life. Cindy has a husband, a son and future daughter-in-law, two elderly parents she should be spending time with, and other relatives.

The trial will take place in less than a year, and when it's over, Casey will be in prison. Cindy faces a choice..........she can continue down a path of self destruction or she can get help and have some sort of normalcy in her life.

The case is going to trial in less than a year and it will take maybe two months. I think Perry will move it quickly and she will be sentenced and it will be over and then things get serious for Cindy.

Casey is gone - in jail for life - no chance for parole and the house is empty and she's with George - who can't stand himself and probably her at this point.

The problem with Cindy is she is revolving her life around Casey because it is too hard to face what she needs to face in order to save the rest of hers. And when this trial is over and she has the time and there is nothing in the court's coming up and Nancy Grace is finished talking about Casey, Cindy will have to face her life - not a nice prospect.

As much as Lee seems to be family oriented, so Cindy says, I think he will bolt when this is over and start his life with Mallory.

She is willing to throw away her husband for this thing who killed her grandchild and I realize George is a piece of work considering how he does not mind taking 5,000 from River and some 40,000 from Cindy's credit cards. But I don't think he sexually abused Casey and it is killing him that she even suggested it and he does not want to be in court.

Casey does not care about Cindy and probably hates her and will adjust just fine to prison.

I think jealously played a huge part in the death of Caylee. Just my opinion.

What is the matter with this "mother"?!! Cindy cannot separate herself from Casey. It is almost as if she is talking to her herself in that letter. Nums24, I agree a professional needs to look at this letter, there is so much more under the surface and between the lines. It is full and ripe with SOMETHING. I just can't put my finger on it. This letter completly confounds me.

One of the best looks at this was posted over in one of the other threads by TWA. (My appologee if cross quoting is out of line, but this snippet just so perfectly explains CA). I wish I could find the transcript of this conversation with the FBI.

The Federal Agent interviewing Cindy and then George, the one that had them each fill out a long questionnaire about a personality profile...summed it up perfectly.

He was very polite to her, but when he got pop in front of him, he let him know... (my take on what he said)

a) Your wife has a very, VERY skewed way, a wholly unrealistic way of looking at Casey, she described her as "Trustworthy, responsible, a great mother".

b) Your wife doesn't separate her identity as different and outside of what Casey does. She spent a great deal of time describing to me what kind of mother she was, down to details of her discipline, how she packed a bag for her kids, how she potty trained. Unable to see Casey as a wholly separate person, she wanted to illustrate to me that Casey couldn't have done this, because SHE couldn't have done this. Casey loved her child because SHE loves her children. Admitting , even to herself, that Casey harmed her baby is tantamount in her mind to her having hurt the baby. The no, no, no NOT MY CHILD, THE CHILD I RAISED.... is actually a common phenomenon. Indeed the jury is often instructed if they deem a witness to have a clear bias , such as this, they of course can set aside their testimony. She is in denial and it does appear to be quite an emotional block. That being said...you sir and I know her prism is not factual, all of Casey's lies, all of the evidence, all of the stories utterly make no sense, yet mom regurgitates them, and endorses them with no awareness of how they are just as silly , the second time around and easily disprovable as they were when they came out of Casey's mouth.

In Cindy's letter of 5/24 she says she freaked out when she saw the SWAT team in Court with ICA- Baez explained to her that they are always there...
Truth or fantasy?

did the FBI agent actually say those words to George or were those words TWA's in describing what the agent said.

I don't think the agent said the above - he may mean it but I don't think he would be that blunt to George. Am I write that this is TWAs translation of what the FBI agent meant?

Or maybe I am wrong. Anyone?

My immediate sense and recall is that yes, he did say this but I will go back and check. It was in the very early days.
