Does anyone else besides me wonder why the 911 call hasn't been released? So often, that is one of the first things the public hears in a breaking case. It makes me wonder if there was something a bit "off" about what it contains. I know we've heard the LE response chatter after the 911 call but the actual, original hasn't been released ~ has it?

Work, read, work read, life isn't always compatible with sleuthing and posting. At first Jeremy Irwin seemed cleared but why would LE need a warrant to search the house if he was cooperating? He owned the home, could have given consent but didn't, LE had to obtain the warrant. He's obstructing the search of what happened to Lisa. IMO

Missouri, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Wyoming currently exempt 911 calls from the operation of public records statutes.

I feel the same, and disheartened that the media is even interviewing these people. The focus should be on Lisa and LE's investigation, not people DB used to know. I really don't care what they have to say, unless they were saying it to LE.

As a former soldier and current military spouse I am also disheartened by this. I have read everything Sara has written and to be truthful it sounds like she and Shirley want their 5 minutes of fame. I have encountered women like these over the past 17 years that I have been associated with the Army. She may have filed a report on the dvd's but what about the other things she claims? I would be more interested to hear what the mp's have on file. It sounds to me as if these women did not like her and were possibly jealous of her, given the description of how they say she used to look. Especially with the accusation of DB trying to sleep with Sara's husband. I can assure you, if DB ever stole lawn ornaments the mp's would have been all over it. I just don't buy all of their claims. I've seen way too many spouses spread lies about spouses that they hate. It has happened to me and my friends as well.

According to Peter Alexander on the Today Show, the search warrant will be served later today and the police guarded the house over night.

The police also have the computer hard drive which has some other videos of Baby Lisa on it.

Also on this clip, just near the end when Peter Alexander shows DB & JI video of baby Lisa, JI says,very quietly, "that's the way she always was". Why is he referring to his daughter in the past tense?

I have to reserve judgment on this one and wait to hear what is revealed. If 2003 is the only date referenced I can't help but think DB was only 17-18 and and the girl I was at that age was certainly not indicative of the woman I was at 25.

BBM: While I understand and respect what you are saying ... in MY OPINION, DB has NOT "grown up" after having 2 children and is still acting like she is 17-18 years old ... AND

IMO ... this is clearly evidenced in the video that was released of DB buying the box of wine -- NOTHING WRONG with buying wine -- BUT

IMO ... all the "shenanigans" associated with the purchase of the wine is HINKY ... AND

DB herself got on national tv "admitting" that she was "drunk" and may have "blacked out" ... now, it could be a "defense strategy" but still ...

I would call this IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR when you have 3 children at home to take care of and then you claim you are "drunk" and "blackout" ... and you canNOT remember what you did the evening your 10 month old goes MISSING !

Oh ... and DB calls the drinking "adult time" -- something like that ...

DB has not been believable from day one ... and her "ever changing stories" clearly indicates to me she has SOMETHING TO HIDE -- BIG TIME !

Well personally I am having a hard time believing that the person that DB put forward in the media at the beginning could be so deceptive and could have done something to Lisa or covered up something that happened due to her own negligence. We've only seen what she put forward...good family, loving parents etc. Lots of happy family pictures with Lisa being the princess whom they all adore.

I think that perception is slowly breaking down with every new detail that is coming out and she certainly didn't help herself with last weekend's drunk media blitz. For me to wrap my head around why LE seem to be doggedly pursuing this possibility I suppose I'd need to know what they know...and that's not going to happen.

So perhaps a glimpse into her life before Lisa might shed some light on to how it might be possible that she is hiding or covering something that would lead to what happened that night.

It's f'n revolting to me that these people are giving the media any interview at all. A baby is missing, and these people want their 15 minutes, apparently.

Of course, I'm not condemning anyone who watches it, because what's on TV is fair game. I'm just sickened by the people actually giving the interview.

The only individual that I'd be interested in hearing from with regard to DB is her husband/ex. In that case, though, his perception might be different now that he lost custody of their son and the fact that Deborah is living with another man. jmo

Good news - KCTV.com today will be posting an interview done with two people who knew Debbie at Ft Bragg. Sara and Shirley. It is going to be huge. (I tipped the journalist to interview them by the way. Sara had been posting comments on another site. I sent about 10 media outlets a link and he jumped on it within minutes.) It will be a two day presentation.

I am a bit torn over this. I am all about the context. It can be insightful to hear and offer different perspectives (which is why I finally broke down and joined WS instead of just lurking) but if this is all about character assassination for media ratings, I have a lot of doubts. I'm really not interested in hearing any more about her partying. I think it was a slippery slope in the CA case and I think we are teetering on it here. I hope we can leave the judgement out of our analysis and keep the focus on finding the truth. just my :twocents:

They've been posting on other sites but not allowed for discussion here b/c it's deemed as rumors and hearsay. I guess being able to openly discuss it here will change once it hits MSM.

True BritsKate. But then I think of the Zahra Baker case and all the information that came out about EB in the media. Which prompted a lot of sleuthing of her background. I'm sure LE received a lot of tips based on that. And some of her current charges are based on that background information I think. It's hard to tell what LE already know from their own investigation and what they learn from tips.

So if a media interview of these women prompt a tip that helps LE I suppose that's a good thing?

Am I the only one not impressed by this? If these two people know anything germane to the whereabouts of Lisa they should be talking to the police, not the media. If they don't know anything, I'm not interested in hearing them interviewed. If all they have to say involves muck raking and character assassination against the mother, I'm really not interested in hearing them. MOO.

What I think is wrong about this- is that DB was a teenager at the time. This was before she was even pregnant with her 6 year old. We can assume she had her 6 yo at 19. So 18 at the most.

NONE of her current neighbors have spoken up about similar behavior, and you know media has been looking for it. Even her ex-in-laws speak well of her. And these two girls admit to publicly laughing at DB as she had her car repo'd- are we sure we know who the mean girls were?

Media should stick to good old fashioned journalism. If DB did this, and the tide seems to be heading that way, then she deserves full penalty. But even if she is guilty, I find the interview in poor taste. There is a reason unrelated neighbor quarrels aren't admissible in court.
