What a way to thank someone who helped, sue them???
I hope the best for TES.
Seems so petty to tie up court time on people who helped after the crime, no way involved in the crime.

UNBELIEVABLE If I didnt actually see this case on tv I would think I was reading one of the most bizarre suspense books in history. I bet Tim never had to get a lawyer before due to searching for someone- how many more lawyers will be added to this case before its over? For Christmas sakes-

If, and I say again, IF, LE paid TES then the argument that TES was an agent of LE is 100% valid. I know this disapoints a lot of people, but it is true. TES does not have to spend a dime having copies made, the documents can be dropped of at Kinko's, copied and sent to JB on JB's company credit card. SOP in discovery.

I have not seen, nor did I hear in the motion hearing that JB wants information on any of the volunteers. If anyone can point to a quote, please do so. What I heard is JB requesting maps and any information used to determine search sites and the results and findings of the searches. I suggest that JB is mostly interested in the alleged searches of the crime scene.

LE donated 5K to TES in August to stay. TES had already spent over 35K of their own money up to that point. They were not paid to go to Orlando, merely given a little money to stay on the search a little longer.

In the motion hearing that JB wanted information on, it was requested that he wanted all the records of the searchers, the search sites and results. The judge never let it in suggesting that JB call TES and request those items. I too do not see the value in that for the defense other than a stall tactic.

I like Nejame. I am glad of this.

I think that Nejame has a lot of integrity.

I believe that he found out what the anthonys and Casey knew and were hiding...and he decided he was not going to morally bankrupt himself for any kind of fame or fortune or press time. I believe he did what he did originally because he honestly was interested in helping....and in the dignity for this little girl caylee.

Guess i aint figured this post thangy out-----cuz it didnt show up------so will do it again.
I'm just an old grandmama-----but looks to me like most of the stuff jb ask for in court could be found thru google

Very, very good first post!

Reply Please....Why does Tim need a Attorney

Basically because the defense team wants to see all the info from who was on the searches, which has a lot of personal info and also places searched. I believe Tim mentioned something like 5,000 pieces of paper.

It could be that what he really wants is to prove that Hoover requested to be in charge of the search in the very area that Caylee was found, more than a month before the meter reader found her.

I haven't quite figured out how that would benefit the defense though.....:waitasec:

That's a good idea about Hoover, CW. It does take a pretty twisted thought process to follow defence strategies at times, doesn't it?. lol

I'm glad to hear that MN is on board to protect TES, and all the many wonderful volunteers that were involved in the searches.

I listened to the entire court hearing the other day and this is what I heard.

Judge Strickland when speaking of JB getting the map info from Equisearch stated that he thought that the defense would be hard pressed to get info about the volunteers from TM but that if they wanted the maps & search area info that JB could send a supeona for that info just like he would do for any other discovery info being that Equisearch is located outside of the florida juristiction. And that JB will need to be happy with whatever info TM supplies.

So Judge Strickland did not rule for JB when it came to this request and JB will need to supenoa for the info and he will get whatever TM wishes to give him...

I don't think I heard this wrong but if I did can someone let me know what I missed.

Wow is all that I can say about this.... This case never ceases to amaze meWow is all that I can say about this.... This case never ceases to amaze me

I am pleasantly surprised! I think MN is a good atty with a kind soul.

I think he is an ambulance chasing publicity hound... This proves, he jumps from one high profile client to the next.

He made a fool of himself many times on Nancy Grace.

I think the Anthony's decided they could could negotiate a movie/book deal, and make money off of this case without his help... Which is what he was involved in while he was their lawyer.

He missed the lime light, so now he is the atty for Tim Miller.

I'm confused.
Would the same hold true if the money was in the form of a "Donation"?
Does an entity Hire a Charitable Organization when giving them funds?

YES JB wants volunteer information:

Casey Anthony's defense team wants a Texas-based volunteer search group that helped look for Caylee Marie to turn over records, including maps used in the search, information on volunteers who assisted and communications between searchers and investigators.

LE donated the money. It would be the same if anyone else donated money.TES is a non profit Org. They might help LE search but they dont work for anyone.TES owes the defense nothing IMO.
