An Infant Hot Car Death?
Not that anyone said it was, but just thinking about two AZ. cases this summer.

IIUC the baby was in Mother's car for a period of time (not reported here by MSM) Tues, and only when she went to pick up baby from daycare and learned baby was not there, she returned to her car ~ 5:30pm & found him unresponsive. *

I wonder if she was the person who usually put him into her car? Then, as happens in some infant - hot car deaths, went about her day (maybe to work) thinking she had dropped him at daycare? Or was there a change in routine --- hers or other household member --- which may have resulted in "Forgotten Baby Syndrome?"

Checked Lexington, MA. temperatures on Tues. High was 82°F (27.77°C).** Not terribly high but still in temp range for hyperthermia.

Med. Examiner may rule Cause of Death as something other than hyperthermia.
Regardless, sad, sad, sad. Enough to make angels weep.

* "The founder and principal of Sol Solecito day care, Nelly Mayorga, told Boston 25 News the infant attended the school but did not show up Tuesday. Per center policy, Sol Solecito took attendance by 8:45 a.m. and messaged the parents of children who were not present, Mayorga reportedly told Boston 25.

"She said they reached out to the boy’s mother around 9 a.m. but never heard back. When the mother arrived for pickup at 5:20 p.m. and learned her son wasn’t there, she ran out to her car and found the baby unresponsive, Boston 25 reported."

Oh man :(. So this mom had no idea she never dropped her baby off at daycare and he sat in her car at her work all day? Then she drove to daycare to pick him up and that's how she realized he was in the car?

Someone really needs to develop a "you left your baby in the car!" app or something :(. There has to be a way to solve this problem!

:(

IMO MOO

Yes, that's the way I understand it--- the sequence of events = Mother left baby in car for hours, thought she (or Father or household member, or other caregiver) had dropped baby at daycare --- but I could be wrong. And maybe it was NOT an infant-in-hot-car-death.

Maybe a death from another cause altogether? IDK. Entirely possible.

For members who have not been following this case (Father Chris Scholtes, 2 yo dau. Parker, hot car death, Mother is physician)
it seems to be an extreeeme example of Infant-Hot-Car-Death.

NOT saying this MA. case is similar. Esp'ly as CoD in MA. case here has not been publicly released yet.

Regardless, 11 mo old baby dead in MA. is tragic. imo
