I've looked thru ALL the article links posted on this story (about 6 or 7 different ones) and NONE of them have a update on what happened in the hearing on Sept. 12th! :dunno:

I'm starting to think I can't find "current" news since I'm here in Europe. All I'm finding are articles from 2 to 3 months ago!

If anyone can find something on this last hearing - it would be very much appreciated!

TIA!

I can't find anything either.

Found an article from Sept. 13th, the day after this court hearing, but....

Southie murder suspect ‘nervous’ By BOB McGOVERN | Page 13 The man who authorities say killed two doctors in their luxury South Boston condo smiled, laughed and fiddled with plastic-covered paperwork in front of him as he sat in court for the first time since being arraigned for the grisly double murder. “Good afternoon, your honor,” Bampumim Teixeira said to Superior Court Judge Christine Roach yesterday during his brief hearing at Suffolk Superior Court. Teixeira bound and stabbed 38-year-old Dr. Lina Bolanos and 49-year-old Dr. Richard... » Download full article, 449 words ($3.95)

I really don't want to pay for this article, just to see if there is another court date set for this case. Anyone have "free" access to the Boston Herald?? TIA!

:bump: to see if anyone has any updates on this case. I sure can't find any....

Strange that I can't find anything - articles - after 9/13/17 the day after his arraignment.

Anyone have any luck in the U.S. ??

TIA!

I've searched court records in Suffolk County, MA as best as I could.

Nothing. Vinelink also has nothing.

I'm stumped.

Thanks for checking JoeFromLB! Much appreciated!

However, a more urgent problem is that of shortsighted Massachusetts judges giving light sentences to ****s, who get out and re-offend. A few years ago, Bampumim Teixeira, a guest of our state with a green card, was twice convicted of bank robbery, but he was sentenced to less than a year in jail and he was not deported. Last May, Teixeira murdered two South Boston doctors, Lina Bolanos and Richard Field, after breaking into the couple’s home.

I'm also stumped. Here is the court link I found, but nothing shows for Bampumim Teixeira:

Massachusetts Trial Court
Court Department: The Superior Court
Court Division: Suffolk County Criminal

The only 'official' government document I found is this 7/10/2017 PRESS RELEASE:
Prosecutor: Double Murder Defendant Familiar with Apartment Building « Suffolk County District Attorney's Office

Yes it is strange. I just get 2017 articles and nothing recent.

Going thru my "older" cases with no movement - so
Bumping this one up!

Still coming up with 2017 articles - one 2018, but it says NOTHING on what is going with this case.

So calling @SeesSeas to see if you can find anything "new". I don't know if it's because I'm over here in Europe that new articles aren't coming up.
TIA!

The news media is woefully inadequate at following these cases, and if the court records are inaccessible to the general public, then nothing can be learned about the progress of the case until it gets close to the trial stage.

In California a case like this could take 5-7 years to come to trial. I don't know about Massachusetts, but I expect a very long wait before the public hears anything more about this.
