Massachusetts State Police are looking for a missing person in Berkshire County.

The Hinsdale Police Department is asking for the public's help locating Jacqueline Coutinho. She's a white woman, around 5'6", 130 pounds with blonde and gray hair. She was last seen wearing a purple and red sweater, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Lieutenant Tom Ryan told 22News state police has significant resources involved in the search.

If you have any information on Jacqueline's location, you're asked to call Hinsdale Police.

“Police in Massachusetts are searching for a former Princeton, Maine woman. Jacqueline “Jackie” Coutinho, age 53, was last seen on the morning Wednesday, May 15th in Hinsdale, Massachusetts. She had been spending time there with her sister for the last month.

Reports say her step-daughters feel she may have been heading to Nantucket, where she was raised.

Immediate search efforts included local police and fire departments, Massachusetts State Police, and Berkshire Mountain Search and Rescue, as well as K9 units, foot patrols, and a helicopter.”

So she had a partner (hence the step-daughters) and had been living with her sister the last month... was there some sort of breakup or DV situation she was trying to remove herself from? The statement that she could be headed to Nantucket where she was raised makes me feel that she could have been doing some “soul-searching” or emotional processing of some kind.. worries me more than a little bit!

Okay, the pic above really does not give anyone an true idea of what she looks like. I wonder why they chose to put that one out there. The ones posted on her Find page are much better...IMO

Missing Massachusetts Woman Has Ties To Maine

A Massachusetts woman who's been missing since last month has ties to Princeton, Maine.

Jackie Coutinho was last seen on May 15, and is a resident of Hinsdale, Massachusetts. In a letter that was posted in the 'Find Jackie Coutinho' Facebook page, her family says she has lived in several locations, including Princeton, Maine. Her children also say that she and her husband have traveled to numerous places on the East Coast.
