Seems like a nice guy. I hope they find him but it's been a few weeks. I wish they knew where his wallet was found - that would help.

Finding Patrick - The Boston Globe

Alerting as I have the wrong date in the thread title - date last seen should be May 4. Thank you!
I wonder why his case worker looked for him at Pine Banks Park in Melrose? That looks like about 5 miles from downtown Wakefield and I doubt that Patrick drove. That'd be a very long walk (round trip) for a 66-year old with symptoms of confusion.
I hope they're praying for him at St Joe's in Wakefield.

I am the moderator for r/Wakefield on reddit.

I was the OP of the posts. IT has been more than 18 months since Pat disappeared.

I am currently working with a coupla contacts in the US Navy to get a LIDAR set here to map the bottom of the lake.(Last place Pat was seen ans his wallet and phone showed up close to the shores of the lake.

I wanted to Dry-Suit dive the lake but the town administrator said that wouldn't go over well with council members

Pat used to walk down to Pine Banks and walk around the park and woods there...then grab the 136 or 137 back to Wakefield Sq.

That sounds like quite the effort. How big is the pond?
