Shouldn't they be able to verify that supposed phone call made from Mr. Crozier's cell phone, by Ms. Hatheway?

Mom of missing Worcester woman searching for answers
WORCESTER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Worcester man is charged with burning down his own home and his live-in girlfriend hasn't been seen since December. And Thursday night, the young woman's mother is demanding answers.

Sabrina Hatheway's mother wants to know what happened to her daughter and FOX25 is looking to help her find out. Police say their looking at a possible connection between Sabrina's abusive relationship with her boyfriend Kevin Crozier and the house police say he set on fire.
"She was a good kid. She was a really good kid," Sabrina's mother, Brenda said.

She says her 23-year-old daughter was last seen with her 28-year-old boyfriend Crozier Dec. 20. at the Dixfield Road home in Worcester they shared.

On Jan 1 police allege Kevin burned down the home with two accomplices, promising a cut of the insurance money.

Prosecutors had said there was no insurance on the house.

"I believe he burned the house down to cover up whatever he did to her," Brenda said.

The FB page for Sabrina seems to have some recent activity. The posts suggest that LE may be soon forthcoming with some new information, but again SM is all rumor, so who knows.

Tomorrow will be one year that Sabrina went missing. Three men? Is that a typo?

One year after her disappearance, loved ones still don’t know what happened to Sabrina Hatheway...

Poring over old scrapbooks of her daughter, Ms. Hatheway said her daughter was collecting Social Security disability checks for her bipolar disorder and putting that money toward Mr. Crozier’s remodeling and renovation of the Dixfield Road home...

Brenda Hatheway said last month she has lost all hope for a safe return for her daughter. She said tips continue to come in from second- and third-hand sources; some claim Ms. Hatheway's body is buried in Idaho, while others have urged local law enforcement to check locally.

Idaho? That's an odd place for MA people to pick to say somebody was taken.

I saw that sad case in the news but didn't make the connection to Sabrina.

Where is Sabrina Hatheway? Kevin Crozier, who was dating the 23-year-old when she went missing in 2014, admits to arson

The Worcester County District Attorney's office and the defense attorney for Kevin Crozier are at odds about the motive behind a house fire that was deemed arson at the residence where Sabrina Hatheway was living when she went missing more than three years ago.

Prosecutor Christopher Hodgens says that despite accusations that Crozier had two men set fire to his family's 11 Dixfield Road home in Worcester so he could collect insurance money, there was a more sinister reason for the blaze.

Aunt of missing Worcester woman seeks justice behind 2014 disappearance

Crozier was paroled from MCI Shirley on April 29. He had been sentenced six years to six years and a day back on May 25, 2018. He'd already served three years by the time he agreed to plead guilty to burning down his home at 11 Dixfield Road in Worcester less than two weeks after his former girlfriend, Sabrina Hatheway, disappeared.

Crozier allegedly told authorities they passed out and when he woke up, Sabrina was gone.
Mallett-Hatheway doesn't believe it.

Crozier's release came a bit earlier than Mallett-Hatheway expected. She thought he'd serve his whole sentence, every day of it, especially after he got himself into trouble for having a friend broadcast their telephone conversations on social media while he was incarcerated. His violent criminal record also made her think he'd serve a maximum sentence.

A spokesman for the state Department of Corrections said he could not elaborate on why Crozier was released early and could only confirm the date and place where he'd been incarcerated.

Missing Worcester woman’s family planning vigil on sixth anniversary

23-year-old Sabrina Hatheway was last seen nearly six years ago at a house at 11 Dixfield Road in Worcester.

Today, the house is gone, destroyed in a fire. The address is simply a snow covered lot, a backhoe in place. Sabrina’s family is still looking for her.

The house, which once stood on Dixfield Road, belonged to the grandmother of Sabrina’s former boyfriend, Kevin Crozier. Crozier was convicted of setting the fire that destroyed the house shortly after Sabrina vanished. He was released from prison earlier this year. Medina tells me her family would like to talk to Crozier about Sabrina, but that has not yet happened.

On December 20 at 5 p.m., Sabrina’s family will return to Dixfield Road to stand vigil for Sabrina. The family wants answers. And they want justice for Sabrina.

6 missing Massachusetts women and girls where information might help

Sabrina Lee Hatheway has been missing from Worcester since Dec. 20, 2014, when she went to spend time with ex-boyfriend Kevin Crozier, with whom she previously lived at his grandmother's house. She never returned. She was 23 years old at the time.

Crozier claimed that Hatheway, a mother of two, was gone when he woke up the next morning at his grandmother's. Just days later, on New Year's Day, the house burned in a fire, and Crozier and two other accomplices were charged with arson. All three pleaded guilty and have since been released from prison.

Hatheway was not seen or heard from again. Investigators wondered if the fire had been set to conceal what happened to Hatheway, but no remains or evidence of homicide were found in the home, according to previous reporting by the Worcester Telegram and Gazette. They did, however, find a burn pattern leading to the master bedroom and a trail of accelerant onto the bed. Hatheway's aunt has previously saidshe presumes her niece is deceased.

Anyone with information should contact the Worcester Police Department.
