These odd secrets

Well, in all fairness, a lot of people immediately jumped to the conclusion that someone at the mechanic shop "must" have been involved and to this day if you read the Facebook comments on new articles about her disappearance you will see numerous people still speculating this as if they were the first people ever to think of it.

It's a small business that probably depends on local word of mouth, and I think the name of the shop should remain private to prevent destroying the business. If there were any legitimate links to her car being at that shop and her disappearance, this would be solved by now. JMO

I think the best thing is for people following this is to start from the beginning as so much would be answered and be 'caught up'. It would be well worth the time it would take I'd think, for those not reading all from the very beginning.

Is it strange that both of her abutting neighbors on the street behind her have since sold their homes? The first one sold was listed for sale June 6, 2020. This was during Covid lockdown, not much being put on the market then. The other one was sold February 2021.
We don't really know what kind of crimes have taken place in that neighborhood in recent years. Break-ins, underage drinking in woods etc. Maybe those things along with SC disappearance made those neighbors want to move to a safer neighborhood or they were just downsizing.

Hanson is very low crime. I have no idea why they sold, but I would guess it's that we're at the top of the housing market bubble. Prices skyrocketed since the pandemic hit.

I don't know why they as sold either detectorhector, I was just throwing out some thoughts.

Perfect time to sell if you are looking to move out of an area or retire. Monponsett isn't generally considered super desirable area, so I can see people wanting to move along now, before a possible crash of the housing bubble.

Here's a link to the new interview:
Still Missing: Family Continues To Look For Hanson Mother Last Seen In 2019

From the interview: “There was indication in my eyes that struggle occurred within the home, but not enough technically for police to indicate a crime was committed inside,” said McMahon.
I don't know if the police listening to her daughter's insight to what she saw of her mother's home would of made a difference or not, but they weren't looking at the situation at all as a possible crime or violation happened to Sandra. A shame.

Not sure what this means. If there were any evidence of a struggle, I can't imagine the police wouldn't consider it at least a possibility. They never have. But without knowing what she's referring to, we can't opine further.

I would say the condition her bed was in, slats down so corner of bed tilted down. Maybe other things she might of noticed that weren't 'right' to her later. She said the dog was just sitting in a chair, not doing it's jumping and greeting her as usual. After not having food and water for a couple days I'd think the dog would of been extra gleeful, but was not at all. That might not of been mentioned to the police at all, except saying mother would never leave the dog long enough that it would run out of food and water. All that has been said by her at the time in interviews, that we know of.

If the dog had been alone since Wednesday and was out of food and water, I wouldn't expect him to be too energetic. While I wish he could talk, I've always written the dog's behavior off as not indicative of anything for this reason.

The story about the bed slat or slats has never been very clear to me. If the bed was actually sunken down to the point someone wouldn't sleep on it, I can't imagine law enforcement wouldn't find that of interest. But one loose bed slat that hadn't been drilled into the frame in the absence of any other evidence physical evidence doesn't seem all that meaningful. I have one bed like that and one slat has been easily dislodged by kids jumping/playing on it. Kids can also break bed slats by jumping on the bed. But I'd like to know more details about the appearance of the bed, including whether it was made or unmade in light of Sandra's usual habits.

Until Sandra's daughter is able to explain what she considered to be a sign of a struggle that lead to Sandra's forced removal from a home with several neighboring homes in close proximity, I still think it's much more likely that when Sandra left her home for the last time - whenever that was - she left voluntarily and not under duress.

Just my opinion but I think the "something indicative of a struggle" that the police did not find as significant as she did, refers to the second search she did of the home where she got on hands and knees hoping to find forensic evidence. Key word "hoping" and I can't fault her for trying her best to escalate things if she truly believed a struggle must have taken place. However, LE deals with facts, not feelings, and we know that after she found this "evidence" - whatever it was - crime scene techs did return to the home to thoroughly investigate. So if at the end of that time they did not find it to be actual evidence of a struggle then this is significant information.

This, and also, bumping for Sandra and those who do LOVE and MISS her.

Originally I thought the daughter said a few bed slats were off and in this recent I rescued she said all were off. Did anyone else notice that? I really thought in the beginning when Sandra first went missing it was only a few bed slats with the corner sinking a little. Imo 2 authorities went in and came up with nothing . We saw in footage there were several authorities going in to Sanders house and its not a big house so its easier for them so assess. They did take things from the home. We never heard back on results. Did they use luminal? I would hope so!
