Not much to go on here. Was the accident on a bike path or the street? Clothing, type of bike? Any students go missing over Christmas break? I couldn't find any MSM with more details.

GPS coordinates in NamUs are often unreliable, but the ones associated with this UID point to where he was found as being within a park area near the Paint Branch Trail, part of a greenway trails network. Some portions of the greenway appear to have been established well before 2006.

Somewhat off topic, but a pet peeve of mine is victim blaming, whether in mainstream media, or as in this case, NamUs. Especially with cyclists, it's always noted when they weren't wearing a helmet. If this accident was indeed on a greenway, that wouldn't have been remarkable to not have one. I always wear one, on or off the road, but there are few, if any, states that require them. Again this is all speculation, but it's hard to imagine a greenway accident that would have been fatal, helmet or no helmet.

Poor young man. I wonder if he's ever been reported missing anywhere. I wish there was more information about his case. I wonder if his remains are still available.
