I had a difficult time getting Connie Smith listed in the NAMUS database there are steps law enforcement needs to do first. When Connie went missing there was no national database for missing people to be listed. There was a database that recorded, stolen guns, cars and jewels, etc, but the missing was not a crime, it was usually considered a “family matter” The missing usually show up or return home very low priority for LEOs to investigate. That doesn't mean that was right, but law enforcement means just that, “they” enforce the laws on the books. These were not crimes, especially without a body or crime scene to investigate.
Best way to maybe get her listed is to locate the NAMUS respossible person and the cold case squad from the LEO that has her case, or did and nail down if her death records exist. Listing her on a family genealogy page without a source means nothing without proof.
