Chase Rogers, 25, left his Pocatello home with his 5-month-old son Lucious Rogers on Aug. 1 “without communicating his plans to the mother of the child,” according to the Montgomery County, Maryland, Police Department.

Chase is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds with hazel eyes and blond hair. Lucious has auburn hair.

"A Pocatello woman is searching for her missing infant son whom she says has a birth defect and may need medical treatment.

Melissa Lynch says her 5-month-old boy, Lucious Jaxx Lynch-Rogers, has a congenital pulmonary airway malfunction (CPAM).

According to the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s website, CPAM is a birth defect that includes a cystic mass of abnormal lung tissue that cannot function as normal lung tissue does.

“Ever since I was pregnant, I’ve been seeing a specialist about it,” Lynch said.

The defect can lead to further complications, Lynch said, adding that she needs to take her son into a specialist soon to determine what care he needs and when he needs it."

I don't see any comments anywhere?
I saw the comments. I entered the mother's name in the Idaho criminal court search (go to link and hit "smart search" and enter her last name, comma, first name), there's a ton of court documents under that name but they appear to be multiple people, I'm not sure if any of them are actually her. Her middle initial is "B". https://mycourts.idaho.gov

Scroll to the very end of the article posted on this ISJ site. You should see 1 comment then several replies to it.
Thanks anyway, but for some reason, there is no comment on that page for me to view. I have combed over it several times.

At least you can see the article..

I wonder that LE is "only" wanting to check the child. Did i miss something that the father has sole custody or something similar? A 5 months old needs his mother if there is nothing else speaking against this and herefor i would expect a bit more by LE to find the child.

If he is the father and there was no official custody order in place. LE won’t do anything. It’s considered a civil matter. So reassuring, huh?

I'm just worried about this child's medical issues not being treated.

Strange that the father is not being sought, they just want to know the welfare of the child. LE may know more about the situation and may feel the child is better off with him.

Then again, seeing that court case of his above, um, doesn't give me such a positive vibe that the little guy is in better hands. Hopefully, some loving family member or friend is taking good care of him.

Adding Facebook post from 9/16/19 (Chase should be traveling with his father Lawrence)
