Really? And that's okay with you?

No, it just confuses me.
I assumed they'd be stealing things like liquor or meds.
Same reason that electronics stores and liquor stores are the other things being looted?
It surprised me that people were taking practical things.
Doesn't seem to fit in with the whole rioting/looting scenario.
Then again I have never rioted or looted, so what do I know?

Just watched the police throwing rocks video.

I can't believe the police backed down from that mob.

I would imagine that the police have been given orders to "give them space to destroy" like the mayor stated.

There is a peace rally going on now. Clergy is trying to keep the peace. Marching down North Ave. now

There is video of officers throwing rocks back at protestors.
I don't know if there is a link I can post it from, but it's on twitter and possibly youtube.
Protestors started throwing rocks, cops threw rocks back, protestors rushed the cops.

Here it is on youtube.

I do not trust any homemade video that has been spliced together. I've seen still pics of officers holding rocks, so maybe some did throw them back, but until I see a MSM video of them doing it I consider whoever made this to have an agenda.

Here's MSM video of the rock throwing and police responding by throwing tear gas canisters back, not rocks.

Bery large group praying for the violence to end in the middle of North Ave. Lots of people joining the clergy.

I think the police are showing alot of restraint to not show more force. It was not that long ago the police reacted in a more violent way to any aggression.

Police did not throw rocks, it was a very poorly written statement meaning to say that police reacted to the rock throwing.

People keep showing up at the mall.
Wow. Nobody is stopping them. They just keep coming.
Not to mention they are going to run into pedestrians or other cars.
So many people who have no moral compass and believe this is okay? :dunno:

It's at least one, possibly two, but no reason to have done so imo

Thanks button was not enough!

Updates have indicated that the LEO's are permitted to use far more protective "instruments" than a rocks and then having to run away per the mayor's statement. (not the statement being televised now) 7:57 pm est.)
(not saying rocks cannot cause damage).
